I visited St. Lucia for the very first time and after researching I decided to stay at Coco Palms Resort. I must say for my visit the service I received was pleasant and delightful. The front desk staff helped make arrangements prior to my arrival and even during my stay they assisted in whatever way they could. I stayed for a total of 3 nights and enjoyed my stay till the very end. The hotel is located near the Reduit beach which is beautiful, the pool at the hotel was very warm and inviting, my room didn’t have much of a view but it was well kept, housekeeping came daily and changed towels. I took the all inclusive package and it was very well worth it. The drinks were excellent and the bartender provided recommendations which were on point- the rum punch is a much have. The food at the restaurant was good, however I found that since they had the same menu for lunch and dinner, it was a bit limited on what to order. But overall I really did enjoy my stay and would highly recommend.

We have recently got back from a fantastic relaxing week at the lovely adults-only Bel Jou hotel. The location, grounds, pools, food, drink and entertainment were all great, especially the BBQ night, but as countless others have said, it is the staff that make this place truly special and gives it a feeling of luxury that far exceeds its official three-star rating. Without exception, all the staff we met were genuinely friendly, polite and efficient, and consistently went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and special. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The hotel is quite small so there is a fairly limited choice of food, but everything we had was good quality and excellently prepared, with some fruit and vegetables sourced from the hotel’s garden, I believe. However, we would have liked a bit more choice of local Caribbean dishes. The wine, beer and cocktails were all very good, but the local spirits and mixers took a bit of getting used to, although after a couple of days we didn’t really notice any more, and they certainly had the desired effect. The service in the bars and restaurants was excellent with our wine glasses being regularly topped up without having to ask, which again contributed to the overall feeling of pampering and luxury. There were plenty of sunbeds so there was none of the usual dawn scramble to reserve sunbeds that were then not used for the rest of the day, which made it very relaxing and strangely satisfying to be able to be able to wander down to the pool at pretty much any time of day and find somewhere nice to sit. We both had a lovely one-hour massage in the Sugar Cane Spa. The hotel is set in lovely gardens on a steep hillside with great views over Castries, but there are a lot of steps that might make it less suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We met some lovely people and would love to go back again next year.
