I recently stayed at the Mercure Melbourne in the heart of the city, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The location couldn’t be better—right in the middle of Melbourne, with shops, restaurants, public transport, and major attractions just steps away. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities you’d expect from a quality hotel. The bed was cosy, the Wi-Fi was fast, and I loved being able to walk straight out into the buzz of the city. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and professional, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of fresh options, and the dining area was bright and inviting. Overall, Mercure Melbourne is perfect for both business and leisure travellers who want convenience, comfort, and great service in the heart of the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Receptionist Magda was absolutely wonderful—so welcoming and engaging! She recognized us from our first visit and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and comfortable. To our delight, she even told us we’d been upgraded—how exciting! Her warmth and attention to detail truly made our stay special. From the warm welcome at check-in to the spotless, comfortable rooms with beautiful lake views, everything was just as perfect as we remembered. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, and the location is ideal — peaceful yet close to shops, cafes, and restaurants. It’s rare to find a place you want to come back to so quickly, but Mercure Caroline Springs truly feels like a home away from home. Already looking forward to our next visit !!! My husband & I always have a nice stay at The Mercure Albert Park. We received a lovely upgrade to a lake view. Positives - great location for Albert Park - great sauna, pool & gym - friendly staff - tram is a 5 min walk straight into downtown Melbourne - bed is comfortable, pillows are soft - soft dressing gown and slippers Negatives - room including bathroom a bit dated, shower had to be adjusted all the time as it went hot then cold then hot again, - Air con didn’t seem to work very well - you only get 2 pillows for a king bed, so I had to ask for another 2 pillows which took housekeeping 4 hrs to get to us and I had to go back to reception as housekeeping wouldn’t answer their phone Overall, we do love staying here!!

As we arrived early, reception allow us for early check in due to room avaiblity,this is what i realy appreciated. Room is clean & comfort,quite. Recomended to stay in. Breakfast food ok.

Room was clean. A minor gripe is that there is no chain attached to the door for extra safety. I understand that the doors are double locked, however the chain is standard across all hotels and this is the first time I've seen it removed with the reason being that all chains have been removed since covid? Otherwise a very comfortable stay. Location is very convenient with a tram stop right outside.

We enjoyed the food at the cafe downstairs. The hotel is really close to the venue we were planning to go the next day. Easy check-in and check-out.

I had a pleasant stay at Mercure Melbourne Doncaster. The hotel is modern, clean, and located in a convenient area close to Westfield Doncaster shopping centre. The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and well equipped with great city views. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to assist with any requests. Breakfast had a good variety, and the restaurant offered quality food in a relaxed setting. The rooftop pool and fitness facilities were an added bonus. Overall, it’s a great choice for both business and leisure stays in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. Highly recommended for comfort and value.
