"The accommodation was lovely and very clean, the only problem was that the staircase to upstairs was so tiny and steep, it was quite difficult getting my luggages up the stairs. Also I was made to pay a deposit of £50.00 before my code was given to me to unlock the door for entry. I was told that it would be refunded the next day after check out, it's been a week after I checked out but I haven't recieved any refund."

"Hotel is decent but had a bad experience staying here... my bf who has special needs set the vape sensor off by mistake, full building got evacuated... then we got told to leave... my bf is partially blind also.. so he couldnt see the signs about no vaping... due to this he is not coping very well, the receptionist was rude and gave us a fine. Won't be staying there again"

"Stayed in a twin with my son for the football for convenience, only one of everything ( towel / cup etc ) as in they wrongly assumed 1 person was staying there. Very , very average warm / cold breakfast was served the next day. For the money it's a good location and free parking."

"We went to the Royal Oak last night for a meal. There was a short delay on the food due to extreme heat in the kitchen. The bar staff were very apologetic and offered us a free drink. The food was excellent and the wait wasn’t bad at all. What we really loved about the pub was how they looked after the young people in the village. They were allowed to nip in and use the toilet which was very kind of them. We had a really good evening there and the atmosphere was great. 100% recommend. Thank you."
