CONS: Stationery chair was not comfortable; website allows you to choose extra pillows & towels, but these were not available upon arrival although we chose on website when making reservation. HVAC system had a very loud grinding noise all night, but we did not request room to be changed since so late in the evening. HVAC was going to be serviced after we checked out. Hotel is located along highway, so although convenient for traveling and depending where your room is located in hotel, you will hear traffic on highway throughout the night.

Booked a big bed room. The room was clean and the space was large, and the two people lived very well. There is a table and two more comfortable chairs. There is a refrigerator, microwave, and simple coffee maker. The room is very bright and the light is very good. It is convenient to get off the high speed less than a mile. At the end of the hotel is a Mexican restaurant, where I had a dinner and felt that the price was more expensive and the food was simply like junk food. It is recommended not to use this restaurant. In short, I am very satisfied with this hotel.

We used IHG points for a one night stay at this hotel. We have stayed at numerous Holiday Inn Express hotels, and this one was by far the worst. The lobby was messy and the floors looked dirty. We were told not to use the side door because it was not working well - which was true - it could not be locked because part of the jamb was broken off. We were given a first floor room. On opening the door, the room had an odor and the tile floor looked dirty - I wondered if the room had been cleaned. On closer inspection, the floor was chipped and stained but didn't have debris on it. The towels were fresh and the bathroom was in order, but the tub had mildew around the caulk and a large stain in the tub. There is very little lighting in these rooms - only one light by the door, lamps on the wall by the bed and one light on the desk. The next morning, my husband went to the lobby early for breakfast, which was overcooked eggs and sausage. He overheard the breakfast attendant tell another staff member that she was ”still throwing up”. I had breakfast elsewhere. When we left, there was no one at the desk to resolve credit card charges that should not have been made - the room was free on IHG points. Usually a small charge is made, then removed before checkout. We wondered if we were given a bad room because it was on points - not our experience on other stays. This hotel is in poor repair, not very clean and understaffed.
