"It's so convenient for a self-driving trip, there are plenty of parking spaces. The hotel is newly opened, all facilities are new and clean, towels and toiletries are complete, and there's even conditioner. The bedding is clean, the toilet has a separate wet and dry area, and the washbasin is also separate, the design is very convenient so you don't have to make do when you need it. There's also a small refrigerator, which is great for chilled drinks in the summer. What I'm most satisfied with is the washing machine and dryer, both of which are new and clean and easy to operate. I feel that the hotel owner really thinks of the guests, and they also provide good laundry detergent, unlike other hotels where the washing machine is just for show, old and worn out, and guests have to bring their own detergent. Plus, the room rate is cheap, and it has four-star service. Although the room isn't very big, it's big enough for two medium-sized travel suitcases to open and move around in, so everything is perfect."

Maitreya Huxi Man Hot Spring Homestay (Huquan Water Town Tourist Resort Scenic Area Branch) ★★
"The guesthouse has a fantastic location, just across the street from the scenic area. It has a terrace on the 6th floor with panoramic lake views. The bedding was very clean, and the toiletries were of good quality. It was also very quiet at night. We stayed for two days with an elderly person and a child, and it was very comfortable. It's pet-friendly, and the owner is very kind. They even gave us two bottles of fruit and flower vinegar when we checked out. It was a great stay, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit Mile."

It's only 200 meters from the Dongfengyun Kaleidoscope, and they even have a shuttle that takes you there, so you barely have to walk – perfect for families with kids. The hot springs were another great surprise; with so many pools, adults can relax while the kids burn off energy in the larger ones. The room was very comfortable, and the bedding was fantastic! They also offer various classes, like yoga, that you can book. I tried one, and it was so relaxing. I'll definitely be back!"

"This hidden gem of a hotel definitely deserves five stars! The decor is high-end and stylish, and the location is fantastic for getting around. It's just a few minutes walk to Qianwangmen, a popular spot in Mile. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, which is really convenient. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the breakfast offers a good variety of choices. The public areas are elegant, and the whole place is clean and quiet. The front desk staff, especially the lady who checked me in, was incredibly helpful and enthusiastic, offering great recommendations for local food and attractions. My stay was perfectly comfortable and pleasant from start to finish. The cleanliness and environment were impeccable. It's definitely worth experiencing~"

"The hot spring was too cold; I couldn't go in. It was warmer to take a shower in the room. And one of the pools was dry. I booked this place mainly to soak in the hot spring. The room was spacious and clean. You could see the lake directly from the window. The breakfast was pretty good; the braised chicken rice noodles were delicious."

"Booked this hotel for my parents, and its location is fantastic. It's right next to Huquan Ecological Park and Honghe Water Town, both within walking distance. The service was very warm and welcoming; they even provided a plan for getting from the hotel to various attractions and night markets. The breakfast was good too, and they gave out eye masks and face masks as gifts. The hotel's hot spring pools are also excellent – a quick soak really helps with fatigue."

The environment is clean and the staff are very warm, the coffee is very good, and it also includes three meals a day. The public area is large and the design landscape is unique. "The hotel is in a superior location, with beautiful scenery around Qianwangmen and Huquan Ecological Park. The breakfast is rich in variety. Of the three open-air hot spring pools in the hotel, only one is currently open. The hot spring pool has an elegant environment and the water is quite clean. The hotel has upgraded the room type. After the landscape windows are closed, it is quiet and noise-free. It would be better if there is a small refrigerator in the room."
Mile Shed Private Hot Spring Homestay
"Shede Hot Spring Hotel was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our 16-day trip to Southeast Yunnan. The hotel's decor is simple yet comfortable. Private vehicles can't drive directly to the hotel entrance; only those arranged by the hotel can. The staff were very welcoming; knowing our arrival time, they sent a young man to the roadside to help us with our luggage. The hotel is located right in Honghe Water Town, which makes for a pleasant stroll after dinner. There are also plenty of restaurants along a road not far from the hotel, making dining very convenient. The hotel offers private hot springs; you just need to book a time in advance. For a one-night stay, you get two hours. You can choose from various types like sulfur, rose, or milk baths. The private spring pools are quite large, easily fitting four people, and very clean. After each use, a dedicated staff member cleans and disinfects them. The hotel also has a laundry room with two washing machines and dryers, which is very convenient for long-term travelers like us to wash clothes. It would be even better if they added some stools to the laundry room. The hotel breakfast was good, and the coffee was excellent too. We stayed in a twin room, which is the only room type at 30 square meters. It's not overly spacious, and it would be great if the hotel offered larger twin room options for guests to choose from. The bedding was very comfortable, and the bathroom features a three-way dry/wet separation. The shower has great water pressure, making for a very comfortable shower. The only minor complaint is that the toilet area doesn't have a door, which can be a bit awkward when traveling with friends. Overall, this hotel is excellent and offers great value for money. I would definitely book Shede again on my next visit to Mile and have already recommended it to friends, who also loved it after their stay."

"Although we only stayed in Mile for one night and it rained, our experience at Wanshan was great. We booked a two-bedroom suite, and I have to say, the soundproofing was excellent; we weren't disturbed by different schedules at all. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is located right within Honghe Water Town, very close to Qianwang Gate, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Focheng Shangdu (commercial city) is also not far. My only regret is that the weather wasn't cooperative, so we couldn't visit Lake Spring Ecological Park or enjoy the outdoor terrace of our room. Overall, though, our stay was still very pleasant!"

There are parking spaces in front and behind the hotel, making parking convenient. The only drawback is the lack of charging stations."
