"This brand-new hotel is absolutely stunning and beautifully decorated. Our room was very stylish, spotlessly clean, and featured a very comfortable bed. One of the absolute highlights was the amazing pool overlooking the ocean. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the unbelievably friendly staff who made us feel so welcome. A perfect stay in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!"

"We had an apartment overlooking the pool & seafront, fantastic views! Very comfortable furnishings with everything we needed. Elise, the agent, was fantastic, spoke excellent english, so helpful with organising taxis & telling us information. She also organised a taxi guide when we visited Sao Antao, which is a must! Absolutely beautiful. The pool & the area around it was very clean & lovely & peaceful, sometimes just us. We would definitely go back."

"The hotel is undoubtedly the best that could have been in Mindelo in the past, facing Amilcar Cabral square, a pleasant shaded park, its terrace offers an ideal viewpoint from which to watch the carnival parade! The room (n°203) is spacious, although impersonal, the view of the back of the hotel is very ugly. Impossible to open the windows and since the air conditioning remote control is out of order, the room quickly becomes stuffy! the bathroom is well equipped, shower with hand shower (a first, very useful on an island where water is rare!), however very little space between the toilet bowl and the sink! The hotel staircase carpet is very dirty, replacing it would not be a luxury. The breakfast, served as a buffet, is OK, it's a shame that the only toaster is defective. A nice hotel certainly, right in the city center, but which does not deserve its four stars."
