Ca n＇Ametller Yakınındaki Molins de Rei Otelleri

I’ve been waiting to write this review ever since I got back home from Barcelona. I stayed here with my partner for a few days during the week for his birthday. Admittedly we booked this hotel via Lastminute.com as a package with flights with Ryanair and we liked the look of the hotel as it was a trusted brand (Holiday Inn) and Molins de Rei seemed like a decently good area to stay in with easy access to central Barcelona. However… The hotel’s actual location is fine, it’s beside a supermarket and a restaurant (Viena, a local chain, we didn’t go but it was popular any time we passed), and it is also a 10-15 minute walk from Molins de Rei train station which is very handy for getting the train to the city, and I’ll get back to trains and transport later in this review (please do read as I wish I knew this before I arrived!) We got room 236 and fair warning, this room wasn’t very nice. I’ll attach photos to this review but our air conditioning unit was COVERED in black mould and we obviously could not use it for air as I was worried about catching something like a chest infection! And our television had a massive crack/deep scratch right down the middle of it. Totally unusable. After that, not long after checking in, we went back down to reception with photographic evidence and the reception team were completely oblivious to the state the room was in. Ironically enough each room comes with a certificate of cleanliness guarantee, did no one notice the MOULD? We asked to swap rooms as it was totally unacceptable and we were told we had to wait until the next morning as the place was fully booked. Fine, we can sleep with the window open. Next day, we were told we wouldn’t be able to move until that evening, but thankfully the head of the housekeeping team phoned our room and told us another room was ready for us. I joked to my partner “I bet they’ve moved us to the one across the hall”… and they had. To 237. It was a bit better with no smashed TVs and a clean air con unit - BUT, there was an extra door connecting this room to the one beside it, and we could hear shouting and arguing from whoever was staying in that one so that wasn’t great. Also the light from that room would shine under the connecting door which isn’t great when trying to sleep, so we had to use a spare towel to block it out. One major thing I would ALSO like to mention is that this hotel is right next door to a nightclub called Eitwo, which we didn’t even know about until Friday night, last night as of writing this, when we were flying back early Saturday morning. This club ONLY opens on a Friday and Saturday according to the reception team, and from about midnight to 6 o’clock in the morning, there were huge groups of people just hanging around on the road directly outside the hotel, and they were screaming and shouting and throwing things, for HOURS. This is a friendly hotel, the staff were helpful. Rooms are basic but very clean. My room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was ok, enough variety to fuel you for the day. It is important to note that the hotel is not in Barcelona. The trains are fairly easy to navigate though and the station is a steady 15 minute walk away, with Barcelona Sants a 25 minute journey away. All in all a good experience.

Stayed here pre cruise and after cruise out of barcelona, found the hotel to clean and our room was large.the room on our 2nd stay was a triple room with a large walk in shower. Great coffee machine in lobby and breakfast room and the breakfast was good with a lot of choice.nice little patio area at front of hotel which was nice to sit out in the sun with your coffee,also at the rear of hotel is a mall with numerous nice eating places.taxi from airport was around 10 minutes and cost €13 (uber), Uber from hotel to port was around €30.the train station is directly across the road and costs around €4.60 return to the city centre, you can also take the train to castelldefels where there is a massive beach although it is a 25minute walk from the train station. Castelldefels is also a nice town with lots of restaurants and it is only 2 train stops from the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed 5 nights in the accommodation and the truth that was all very pleasant. The staff boys all with the best of the waves always and available for any doubt I had. I highlight the work of Ceci, Diogo, Alan, Sofi and Geri. The hotel is very comfortable and the common rooms of the best of the Hostel. The only point in the way of ” complain” is that my goal at the Hostel was to meet people, within all my age and just throughout my stay there was a trip of primary and secondary children, who occupied all the rooms of the hotel.

We stayed 2 days during the Spanish tour. Barcelona holds about 35 Euros with a remote taxi to the centre. Their rooms were beautiful and clean. The breakfast is standard for European hotels. The best thing is that Aldi is next to the market. Car park is available for those coming by car

Good location near the airport, despite BCN's awful public transport. It's a nice, cheap place to stay if you need to be near the airport for an early flight and don't mind staying in a hostel bunk. I only stayed one night and didn't explore the area much, but it seems there's plenty around to do if you're staying a bit longer than I did.

Colleagues on a business trip to Spain, in order to be able to do the Chinese-style apartment, the facilities are OK, parking is very convenient, is a good choice for self-driving friends. .

Considering: - parking is insufficient, a normal car needs 2 places to fit and open the doors - the pool is small, people can 1/2 if you want to respect social distance - the wifi has constant falls, who prevent teleworking under conditions - the price to bring the animal is €10/day, but require you to sign a contract that prevents you from leaving it alone on the floor - the apartment has no washing machine (except if they have any available, The hotel is very comfortable and is very comfortable and is very comfortable. But in the location you have and with your clear shortcomings, it is not worth more than €60/night.

We stayed in one of the triple rooms on 7/F. The room is clean and simple. All the staff in the reception are friendly and nice. We checked up in the morning on the last day and have our lugguages kept at the concierge until 4pm. Location is good too. The only downside is that there was no kettle or coffee machine in the room. We can only get tea and coffee from the machine on the ground floor.

We arrived just after check-in time to find only two working at their reception desk. Each with guests and one ahead of us in line. We waited patiently for around 10 minutes as they slowly managed to complete the check in of one. In that time the line had grown with 8 more guests waiting behind me to check in as well. I was next to check in, or thought I was, but an additional check in person stepped up to another station to help. But instead of asking for the next one he just helped an impatient guest waiting off to the side instead, making me wait almost 20 minutes just to check in. And beyond just changing you for the room they take a deposit, which I never had happen to me before. I have had hotels put credit cards on file but not actual deposits on top of the room charge. After we got to the room, had a lovely view but the windows were very dirty and couldn’t even take good pictures from it. Then after getting back from going out and about we found the phone and tv were dead. So no room service available or entertainment in our room . I went down to the front desk and asked about it and they said the whole building was out and there was nothing they could do. After we went to bed we were awoken by a maintenance man at 12:30 at night asking to fix our tv. I told him we were sleeping. I was so upset they would even think to send someone at that time of night, when I didn’t even ask them to come, I could hardly sleep after that. I went to the front desk the next morning to ask them about resending the maintenance man back to the room while we were out but they explained the whole building phone and tv was still out. I then asked why they would send someone to fix our tv in the middle of the night. They had no explanation. As of our last night here still no tv, phone, or room service. They have no estimate on when it might come back. For what I thought was a higher end hotel their customer service is lacking and maintenance of their building sub-standard.
