Wonderful hotel right in the center of Zhaoxing with an amazing view on the entire village and the surroundings. The hotel seems newly renovated, everything was beautiful and clean. Unfortunately, because of the heavy rains in the days preceding our stay, the water in the swimming pool caught some algae and they had to take it out, clean the pool, and refill it again, which is why we couldn't make use of it during our stay (we only stayed for two days). That was a bit unfortunate as the entire swimmingpool area is incredibly beautiful and with the summer heat it would have been nice to do a swim after the hikes. But all the rest was absolutely wonderful. We actually stayed there on the day of my birthday and the hotel organized a wonderful birthday cake for me and even decorated the room. It was amazing and I would like to thank the staff again for their kindness. Our arrangement included the afternoon tea and the breakfast, both of them delicious and generous. Breakfast included the typical Chinese soups, rice, etc. while also offering Western style bread, marmelade, butter and lots of fruits. What merits a special mention is the outdoor bath tub directly on the balcony. Every evening they prepared the bath tub with special bathing oils and taking a bath right before going to sleep on our outdoor terrace was a sheer delight! We will remember it as a very special place, with incredibly nice and kind people. Thank you for having made this stay so special for us!

Very clean and spacious room. We had 2 adults and 2 children and the room was so comfortable for all of us. Breakfast was amazing. Prepared lovingly by a local lady with guilin noodles, yoghurt and fruit. Service was excellent. Attended to our needs promptly without any delay. Location is amazing smacked right in the middle of the main busy street.

Before arriving, the homestay stafd took the initiative to contact me via Wechat so that they can arrange for transport to bring us from the train station to the hotel. This hotel is located inside Zhaoxing Ancient Village so do purchase the entrance tickets beforehand. The hotel is located towards the end of the village and our room is facing a small paddy field. It is very convenient to move around as it is only 5-10 minutes walk to the bus station if you want to take the shuttle bus to Tang'An Rice Terrace. It is also about 5-10 minutes walk to the centre of the village where you can find food and other necessities. The staff is very considerate- they will message me on wechat to ask what we prefer for breakfast so that they can prepare the noodles and coffee for us by the time we want to go down for breakfast. They can also deliver the breakfast to your room if you prefer. The beds are very comfortable although the pillows can be a bit harder and will be good to have more hooks in the bathroom for guests to hang their towels and clothes before showering. All in all, would highly recommend this homestay. Thank you for the hospitality!

因腿腳不便就找了一家原本以為有電梯的房間，於預訂的時間到了接站的時候時，司機，即是老闆告訴我街上沒有一間是有電梯的民宿。糟了，因為我以為有電梯，我還定了第五層那麼高的呢。老闆很善良，連忙説不用急，我帶你看看第五層的房間，然後再看看第二層的房間，看看你哪個方便就要哪個房間吧。到了民宿，果然第二層的房間才更方便，一點都不用爬樓梯。 於是，我在民宿連續住了4天，真的不願意走了。民宿的早餐非常好，清新自然。原本不吃早餐的我一到9點半就被強烈的慾望驅使我下樓吃早餐，4天的時間都吃胖了，連到中午飯時間都飽飽的，結果我省了兩天的午飯錢，嘻嘻。 連住了4天，老闆也非常的好，很善良，像家人一樣，天天有説有笑。房間也整齊清潔，窗外，就是落地玻璃窗，正對着一大片田園，真漂亮啊！真不捨得走了。 肇興侗寨，再見啦，田園民宿，再見啦，我會再來的。

The Creekside Inn has modern, elegantly designed rooms (I can’t emphasize that enough), a very good location with beautiful views, and a friendly, capable staff, that truly goes out of its way to be helpful— all of this at quite favorable prices. The water is hot and the bed is heated for winter in the mountains. I stayed four days, and would’ve stayed longer had I had time, just because I felt so wonderfully at home there. I left with plans to return with my wife next year. English spoken. Oh，and I got a splendid breakfast tailored to my individual dietary requirements! I have visited 35 countries and traveled all over China, and I have never been happier with my accommodations anywhere!

A cute, tiny homestay directly in the village, next to the river. If your room is on the river side it might be quite noisy, but they also provide earplugs if it’s too loud. The staff is friendly and greets with tea and snacks. Can recommend staying there

專門來肇興侗寨過侗年，尋找年味。民宿位置在禮團鼓樓附近，按照地圖導航就能找到，走一會就能到主街；房間乾淨整潔，一次性用品齊全，晚上很安靜，老闆娘熱情友好。侗年巡遊、打年耙、長桌宴、蘆笙比賽、篝火晚會等活動豐富多彩，感受到了黔東南州侗族的風土人情，不虛此行。最後恭喜禮團隊獲得蘆笙比賽冠軍

Location of the hotel was really good, right next to the performance venue and about 10 minutes by foot from the drop off point of the shuttle bus. I liked the wooden interior or the room and the helpful staff. The only negative point would be that the room was really cold. The air conditioning worked on full power, but was not able to heat the room comfortably.

Friendly lady boss. Could arrange for pick up from Cong Jiang station. Quaint village. Nice and easy to walk around. The room floor creaks as it’s a wooden floor. Accommodation provides ear plugs but we didn’t have to use them. Bathroom is a little small but very local and rustic. Have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Accommodation is located in a very central place but away from the noise. Worthwhile stay.
