It’s really good to say that you can wash your clothes yourself. This time I found that there are pots and tableware for cooking. They are all available. The balcony needs the front desk to open and you can dry clothes! It’s really convenient for business trips. By the way, the omllet in the lobby restaurant is very Chinese!

Breakfast is good for taking children. The space is very comfortable. Hotel looks nice on the outside but you’ll see lots of thing waiting for you. When we arrived in the hotel we see that the people who are working at reception were nice but doesn’t give the basic information about the hotel unless you ask lots of questions. Nothing was explained. Then we switched to our room by ourselves and found out there was a bottle of water which already had been used. Thankfully the Bellboy helped us and solved the problem, we appreciate him. He is the guy who saves receptions lack of information and lack of interest. After relaxing a little we decided to have some air at the restaurant area which is the only place that has open area. But no one cares what you asked or even doesn’t bother coming and asking you as if you’d like to have something. And that’s our first 30 minutes unfortunately. We booked for 3 nights and we’ll see what’s going to happen next. Maybe it’s just our experience.

Not a bad hotel for your money. Clean, comfortable bed. Tea, coffee, 2 bottles of water. Breakfast is modest but not hungry. Operatively answer questions in the wotzap. Of the downsides - no shoes, bad sound insulation, the sockets are not suitable for our charging devices. Ask the transitioner. Promised to bring in the room, but never waited.

Price is ok Only basic items, such as body washes and toothbrushes, were not included but will be delivered upon request. The soundproofing was not bad and there are many people staying at low prices for a long time. For meals, it was 3omr (in my case I went to the restaurant separately in the morning) and it was good for vegetarians or small eaters. At that time, it is said that there is a change in the menu.

I stayed 5 days, but was seriously considering staying a couple days longer, this is how much I enjoyed the city but surely also the hotel. Since my travel itineraries were quite fixed I decided against it. But when returning to Muscat I will for sure try to stay at the Royal Tulip again. I personally liked the location since being close to the bus line 1 and 9, which is a big benefit. Having the Oman Avenues mall close by surely also is beneficial for quickly getting the things one needs when traveling, or just a quick bite when not in the mood for restaurants. The room was big and clean. Good bed and pillows. Very friendly and helpful staff, everywhere. And on top of it a wonderful pool area at the roof withe a great view over Muscat. Wonderful, I will be back!

It was terrible experience I had on this property (citadine al ghubrah muscat) I was traveling almost 24hours for holiday vacation, I selected this hotel to stay since near by the aiport, unfortunately I chosen the wrong hotel, upon check- in the lady receptionist asking me a full payment for the stay, I have no enough cash omr. But I have $ dollars with me, the total cost of my stay is only omr. 22 I have 15 omr and the rest 7 omr. I will pay by dollars, I informed the lady receptionist that I will pay the rest with $ dollars, she said that the hotel will not accept $ dollars, I was explained to her that I just came from the aiport and I was so tired shall I pay the rest by evening I have to exchange my dollars outside, or my cousin will come by evening and pay the rest of the amount cost of only omr. 7 or else I will quarantine my id or passport to keep , I will exchange the dollars outside by evening , but she refused me to check in, now I realize the discrimination /criticism,I decided to walk out and check in to other hotel, thank God other hotel very considerate not even asking the deposit even id's qurrantee, will I hope other guest will not experience the same treatment that I had experience , you have to improve your hospitality and service, especially front office staffs, never ever to booked this hotel anymore,many hotel choices in Muscat. Thank you and have a good day!

Very nice hotel. It is affordable in Muscat. The room is not bad, but the windows cannot be opened. The overall facilities are still very good. More like a 4.5 star hotel - well decorated, very clean, spacious rooms and modern. Recently built. No issues finding parking outside and there's also an underground car park. Beautiful rooftop swimming pool and good sauna / spa facilities, although the ladies sauna wasn't working over the Xmas period. The adjoining mall is new-ish and has a large supermarket but many of the shops/restaurants are unfortunately vacant. Much to our surprise, the Omani gentleman in a grey suit wasn't very friendly at reception and was ignoring some of the non-Omani guests - the Indian staff were much more welcoming and friendly after we had to wait a while to be attended to during check-in. Great value if one of the cheaper 4 star hotel options in Muscat (breakfast add on was overpriced - almost the cost of the room!)
