Very nice staff, well mentained, but the bathrooms / old main buolding needs a update. Good security. Very nice back yard/garden, but bring moskito repellent. The area is not the safest, so Uber was a must for us. The pizza was good. The fileet beef was not so tender. The breakfast was a bit uninspiered….the omeletmaking was not up and running before nearly half an hour afther the breakfast was started. Would recomend a Uber for Wasp and sprout and breakfast there insteed. Awsome avokado toast.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights upon a midnight arrival from the US after a nearly 24 hour flight. The pictures of the front do not do this hotel justice. While the rooms are fairly basic, it has everything you’ll need from clean hot water to clean beds, etc. But the real beauty of this place is the outside patio, bar and restaurant. While a buffet seems generally available for any of the 3 meals, one can also order off menu. We had a delicious burger (get the double patty) with HOT fries, an avocado and tomato salad and a couple of pizzas during our various visits. The burger was delicious, salad good albeit lettuce on the warm side, and the pizzas very good which are made fresh onsite in front of your eyes. Wine and hard liquor available at reasonable prices albeit you might have to order a double to get a western size. I had an Excellent Old Fashioned! Okay I had two! Service is mixed not for lack of trying but perhaps lack of staff and the various onslaughts of tour groups coming and going. The garden and patios are also used by locals for celebrations. Clive was our server last night and oh, so fantastic and helpful. So for a trip layover this hotel a winner. Ubers easily available and cheaper than taxis generally. Extra fee for expressway to the airport but do it as it’s only a few bucks more but saves hours!

I was here for a night. It is a beautiful hotel adorned with lush greenery all around. Location is very convenient and safe. Rooms are spacious, with a bit of an old flair to them. Everything works though. Staff are very helpful and courteous. I will definitely book again. Food is as good as it can get.

The staff did their best to make me feel like a visiting duchess! They could not have been more helpful or more pleasant. My room was comfortable, clean, & supplied daily with fresh towels, toiletries, water, & coffee fixings. My laundry was cleaned & folded the same day. The map will show that the hotel is near major roads, but inside the gate, you will hardly notice. The grounds are lovely & lush, with generous areas for eating & relaxing. The front desk staff are efficient, helpful, & gracious. Excellent value near the University of Nairobi, museums, & the Maasai market!

Really perfect experience! Conveniently close to the University, yet with the feeling of being in a forest. Very close to the National Museum, which is also worth the visit! Hotel includes workspaces, pool, bar, and restaurant. Extremely kind and helpful staff. Group trips to the National Park can easily be arranged. Would definitely return!

It is average hotel, does not have an elevator, so if you have any disability I suggest you order a ground floor. No air conditioning, very small TV, but a fair large room. They leave you water in the room and have a nice set of amenities in the bathroom. The restaurant is good and not expensive.

We stayed for 2 nights. We had 3 beds in the room so it seemed smaller. Room was very clean and the beds were comfy. Any issues we're quickly rectified. Friendly staff, especially the food and beverage supervisor and the lady on reception. Great location near the toll road and a short walk to the centre. Outside area is great.

Noisy, hot, shambles at reception. I was given a room, went to lunch, came back and someone else was in my room, and my backpack was gone. The next room I was given the fan remote didn't work.. Food at lunch was disappointing. Minimal variety and only tables on the parking lot.. And no lift!!

Wonderfully warm and welcoming staff. As I am a solo traveler, I felt very safe and looked after- nothing was a problem. Saul from housekeeping was fantastic. Very helpful and friendly - aircon not working so sourced another fan to help. Rooms clean but a bit tired
