The hallway carpeting was atrociously filthy as were common area surfaces. Room television didn't work, Throughout the night rap music belted from car stereos as ultra-short staying guests came and left soon thereafter (if you get my gist). Painted surfaces looked like they had been painted with a rake. Unfinished drywall patching in the lobby and breakfast areas. Breakfast tables hadn't been cleaned and chair legs and seats are shabby. It seems every time I turned around I had to renew the WIfi lease. Trash bin outside the main entrance was peaked to overflowing. Pay a little more and forget about staying in this joint.

I love this hotel. What makes this hotel fantastic is the employees. Sam at the front desk was extremely helpful, but actually everyone that works at the hotel is great. The breakfast is fantastic especially the eggs. I had an egg white omelette with a lot of fresh vegetables. The service was great also! The rooms are very nice and spacious.

That said it hasn't ever really affected me and the stay is always quiet, clean, cheap, and convenient. The staff is helpful and friendly, and I doubt they control the police situation. I stayed here a couple years ago and it went smoothly. This time, not great. The GREAT: the staff was very friendly and courteous and attentive to our needs. The room was clean, all good in the room. The GOOD: The breakfast was an average hotel hot breakfast - eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juices, etc. Did not use the pool or hot tub but looked fine. The BAD: At breakfast there were maybe five kids (looked about ages 8 to 14) all in the breakfast area with only swimsuits - no shoes, no shirts - hovering all over the waffle station. They continued to get breakfast and (more or less) take over the breakfast area. It wasn't the fact they were hovering over the food and eating in there without shirts or shoes, but the fact no one in the hotel staff spoke up to them. Loss of appetite after this. We saw a woman (who appeared to be pregnant) wearing an ankle bracelet wandering the hotel - I'm assuming she was a guest but not sure. Hallway windows open for no reason - mid March so not all that warm. Faint smell of smoke in the hallways. The fire alarm went off twice in our two night stay. First on a Saturday afternoon (during an afternoon nap) the second went off around 1:30am. Everyone was forced to go to the lobby. Didn't seem to be any sort of emergency. The firemen that showed up had no sense of urgency and almost seemed a little perturbed to be there - maybe a regular occurrence? I contacted Marriot and they refused to compensate me financially or with any points. Will I stay here again? Probably not. Would I recommend? I'd simply say - beware. Maybe I just caught them on a bad weekend. Happy Travels....

Stayed 11 nights late June for vacation and wedding tasks. We qualified for the long term rate made this an EXTREMELY affordable upper tier property to stay in. The motel was clean and quiet. The staff was attentive and pleasant. They do not automatically clean / housekeep the rooms, but you can schedule service through contact with the front desk. Bathrooms were clean, and showers featured soft water. The facilities used elongated bowl toilets. The tub had a pronounced swale in the bottom center, and first access was a bit sporty as the feet determined where to stand to avoid a fall. Plenty of hot water, even at peak hours (bunch of baseball teams were here, early afternoon and early morning seemed to be when they were most active). Bath towels are the typical ”too small for real people size” but Target across the way had $12 3.5' x 6' beach towels which transformed nicely into bath sheets. The bed was comfortable, firm but not a brick. The pillows were either down, or very good reproductions, and quite comfortable. Breffas was great on the weekends. Real scrambled eggs, waffle maker, sausage patties, fruit, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, juice and coffee. On weekdays, they were geared more to grab and go - packaged waffle halves, crustless quiche (if you have an appetite grab at least two as they are... well... compact) and sausage and egg sammiches on a multigrain bagel. All were good options. We won't be traveling back this way from AZ any time soon, but there's no reason YOU shouldn't. If you're in the Warrenville / Naperville / Winfield area for business or pleasure, this facility is well suited for family, business, golfers, Cantigny 1st Infantry Museum visitors. If we do find ourselves back in the area with lodging needs, we will use Springhill Suites again.

Stayed 11 nights late June for vacation and wedding tasks. We qualified for the long term rate made this an EXTREMELY affordable upper tier property to stay in. The motel was clean and quiet. The staff was attentive and pleasant. They do not automatically clean / housekeep the rooms, but you can schedule service through contact with the front desk. The hallway carpeting was atrociously filthy as were common area surfaces. Room television didn't work, Throughout the night rap music belted from car stereos as ultra-short staying guests came and left soon thereafter (if you get my gist). Painted surfaces looked like they had been painted with a rake. Unfinished drywall patching in the lobby and breakfast areas. Breakfast tables hadn't been cleaned and chair legs and seats are shabby. It seems every time I turned around I had to renew the WIfi lease. Trash bin outside the main entrance was peaked to overflowing. Pay a little more and forget about staying in this joint.

I love this hotel. What makes this hotel fantastic is the employees. Sam at the front desk was extremely helpful, but actually everyone that works at the hotel is great. The breakfast is fantastic especially the eggs. I had an egg white omelette with a lot of fresh vegetables. The service was great also! The rooms are very nice and spacious.
