It’s Room

The location is right smack in the historic centre but is down an alley so is hard to find as we arrived late at night. The check in is also a prob as they contacted us separately to get our hp no via email and we had to whatsapp our passport to them which we felt uncomfortable as there was no one at the hotel to check you in. Lastly they were missing a pillow when we checked out prob due to their own housekeeping issues but they were asking if we took the pillow which is ridiculous as we were on a one day trip from rome and only carried 1 smallest bagpack totally unable to fit any pillow. They shld have checked the cctv or questioned their housekeeping before asking the guest. Who takes pillow at this day and age really!

A great venue in, for us, the ideal neighbourhood of Naples. If you like low-maintenance but very comfortable accommodation, that is well located with great views and no noise issues, book here. We highly recommend it. Check-in was a refreshing change from a hotel, but management responded to any query or request. Great memories.

The stuff was very unfriendly, we didn't get the code for the door. He didn't pick up our phone call. We had to write an e-Mail and wait another 20 minutes 'till he arrived. At the end, when we already were back home he wanted the city tax (should check that in advance). He wanted more, than from ebookers was commended. Never agan!

Great location near many of the top sights and right off the Chris**as street where they make and sell their beautiful nativities. The property was clean and very secure within iron gates you use a code to enter. The host was responsive. Be advised there is no breakfast but there are coffee shops and bars close by.

This is one of the nicest rooms we stayed in during the three weeks we were in Italy, and given that it was a big city, and in the historic district, it was a very fair price. The staff was also very kind and accommodating. That said, this is one of the types of hotels where there is simply a floor that is taken over and no real front desk and no staff there except for just a few hours during the day. That’s not necessarily a negative but it can be difficult sometimes if you want to contact someone from the hotel. We also had a problem, and as much as the elevator wasn’t working for 3 to 4 days we were there and that meant walking up and down five flights of stairs. Every time we need to come and go. Not their fault, of course, but if you had any issues with mobility, it would’ve been impossible to stay there.

One of several rooms in a closed courtyard. 4th floor with lift. Keyless access control. Close to Duomo, Sansevero, one block from Spaccanapoli, good nightlife. Rooms clean bright smart. It’s quite surprising what exists behind the otherwise drab facades

This truly is a hidden gem. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated. It is in the heart of the historical part of Naples. As previously stated you can’t drive to It’s Room but it is only a short walk and yes on cobbles but this is to be expected. There was no noise at night so we slept soundly and the air-con was amazing when your dealing with extreme heat outside. Thank you It’s Room for and extremely enjoyable stay. I would most definitely recommend.

I felt like we spent 2 days in paradise. A smile on our girls faces to get to the cabin was priceless. They also caught their first fish. Having my cup of coffee with lake view and trees was peaceful. It was quiet and peaceful and that’s the type of vacation we need. Thank you beachcomber family for all you do. One of the cornerstones of a sustainable business is being accountable. For this reason, I’d rate It’s Room Naples 2 stars. I booked for 3 nights, with an evening check-in for mid-July 2023. First night, the air con was not working and it was uncomfortable. Informed the hotel about the aircon not working the next morning, using Whatsapp. Hotel responded that he/she will inspect the following day. Second night, the air con was still not working and … it was unbearable. Hotel fixed the issue on the third day. Apparently the issue was due to “formation of ice on the evaporator”. Third night, we finally had a working air con. After check-out, I contacted the seller to seek partial compensation for the two nights without aircon. Hotel insisted that it wasn’t their fault and that I should have informed them earlier. I have the Whatsapp messages saved and them pushing the blame onto me for not informing them (false) and that this was unavoidable due to the heat (laughable because Naples is known for its hot summers). I paid for a hotel room with aircon. I didn’t get a working aircon in the room for 2 out of the 3 nights. I felt short-changed, especially for the 2 nights without aircon. The repairs to fix the Aircon will benefit the next guest, at my expense. If attention to detail is a selling point for this establishment, it has fallen embarassingly short. If clogged shower drains and having your room located next to the smoking area is your preference, by all means consider this place.
