I love the view from the Terrace at the top of the hotel, also have food services all day, right in front of the square and take you if you need transport, definitely the leisure very well, The service was very good everyone are very kind, they made me feel like at home and safe for all their protocols, finally return!

Good day I was hosted several days at the hotel mission toreo and I don't get tired of getting to that hotel for the attention of staff both of Alexis and Haydee at reception as well as of Jesus and Rodrigo in the transfer offered by the hotel thousand thanks to all for his attention

I just touched the earthquake of 7/09/21 being in this hotel, each of his employees showed genuine care for his guests, from girls in nerve crisis, support in all kinds of requests and logistics. I particularly thank Alexia and Eduardo for maintenance who approached to support me with material for a torque. The hotel was very good, and the hotel was very good, and the hotel was very good. Unfortunately I am not staying in the hotel but go every morning to the hotel’s restaurant for breakfast, and for ice latte in the afternoon. The staff is amazing! Friendly, polite, attentive! Green juice is fresh and tasty, cappuccino is great, just like ice latte. I had avocado toast with poached eggs for breakfast, which was perfectly prepared, got some fresh fruits before. Really healthy and tasty for a really good price. The restaurant looks nice and has a chic vibe! I will keep coming back until I’m here on vacation. I also go the the hotel’s gym every day which is very well equipped and clean, has a lot of space and types to free weights, cardio and weight machines to use.

I stayed here for quite a long while unfortunately, so I have a pretty good grasp on how this hotel runs. And I wouldn't return unless big changes are made. PROS: --price --breakfast included --pets allowed --lobby decor was cool CONS: --wifi doesn't work for more than a few minutes here and there --water takes almost 10 minutes to get warm --shower only has 1/2 door and gets water all over bathroom floor --all of the wooden trim along base of walls was off or falling off --stains on the new towels --supposed to get 2 waters/day, usually didn't happen --had to ask for more toilet paper --they don't like to clean your room some days and never clean it at the same time --room was hard to breathe in after they did ”clean” because they spray your bedding with harsh chemicals every time so it ”smells clean” --takes forever to be served at breakfast (only one employee) and always got things we never asked for or never received at least one thing we did ask for --top blanket on bed worn and had rough patches --no outside food/drinks are allowed even though the options and service within the hotel for dining isn't good --our travel-sized lotion in the bathroom was used and 1/2 gone already --walls are thin, easy to hear rooms next to you --rude if you ask for room to be cleaned, for new towels, etc. --no room service or laundry service options *not a con, but a tip: you need pesos daily so you can tip the server at breakfast as it's expected since it's not a buffet-style breakfast

It's the third time at that hotel, we will keep staying there as the price is quite fair, the location is just great, close to the main bus station, downtown and the main touristic sites. What we like the most of this hotel is the staff, want to mention Javier and Juan Carlos as they are between reception, bellboys and butlers, they are always helpful. Stephany from the front desk was very kind and enthusiastic. Guess they are short staffed withing the housekeeping department as the maintenance people were doing their job... Something simple from taking coffee to a room or even been a bellboy. Just hope they give them an extra for doing other things. Raymundo and Florentino from maintenance were helping us and we appreciate them taking some time to do so. I would rate this quite good, but we had a deception we never had before in this hotel... Our first room was never cleaned or anything when we came back to rest, they changed us to a different one, which we do thank, but housekeeping does need to be on point, details, basics and their checklist has always to be a priority. Also on the night of the 17th something was going on that other guests just made too much noise, till 3-4am, as we woke up many time and couldn't rest... If you read the document which you sign, part of the rules and policies are to please respect other night time, they need to work on this hard. The security guy, which works a lot compared to the normal 8-12hrs is just nuts, he was kind to help us move around and hopefully the security company which they work for see the long hours and good job they provide to this hotel. From the rest there is nothing to complaint about, the overall experience was good, could have been great. Thank you guys once again. Hope to visit you soon!

Sometimes there is an argument waiting for you when you book on trip advisor, or booking sites. The contempt of a good deal all together erks people. Not all the time but bring cash for those sometimes so you can to your room in an orderly fashion.

I don’t understand the bad reviews over this hotel. I’ve stayed at other hotels like Fiesta Americana Reforma and there is no comparison to Fontán. How can you call this hotel a dump? It’s cozy, very clean, comfortable with excellent customer service. I’ve been staying at this hotel for years (since 2014) and have seen nothing but improvement. I’ve tried other hotels and end up with an early check out for different issues and end up staying at my Fontán. Employees even know me by name.!The rooms look just like the pictures and are very comfortable. This is my home away from home with no doubt. Best location, best customer service, stunning views and I could go on and on. Can’t wait to go back!! Thank you Fontán for being so awesome. See you soon!

I made a reservation for my family who came to visit us from Canada and the first time I had contact with Rodrigo, my family and I were surprised, he was very kind and provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable and wonderful stay.
