"It is a little far from Lake Yunoko, but the Yubatake and bus stop are nearby. Utsunomiya city is 35 degrees, but Oku-Nikko is 25 degrees, so it is comfortable. The room was renovated and clean. The open-air bath is surrounded by greenery and has a nice atmosphere. There is a welcome drink, a hammock, and you can stroll around the courtyard, so it is fun even after you arrive. For dinner, they also prepared a meal for elementary school children. The amount was just right."

"We stayed on the day of the midwinter "Kamakura Festival" (held only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays), which offers a truly fantastical scene. This inn is especially recommended for those going specifically to see the Kamakura Festival. [Room] We stayed in a Japanese-Western style room called "Kōdachi-tei". It seems to have been renovated recently, and the room was clean and well-insulated. It consisted of a Japanese-style room, a twin bedroom, and a toilet. The room offered a view of snow-covered mountains over the roof of the main building, and the view was excellent. It was reasonably priced because it did not have a private hot spring bath. [Cuisine] We had Yunishigawa's specialty, irori (hearth) cuisine. The irori table and chairs made it very comfortable. The taste of the food was quite ordinary, but the presentation was enjoyable. The prices of the alcohol were also reasonable. [Hot Springs] We stayed in a room without a private bath, but there was a large public bath (indoor and open-air), a large open-air bath (separate building), and a private open-air bath (separate building), so it wasn't inconvenient. All of them are high-temperature, free-flowing hot springs with excellent quality. The private open-air bath requires a reservation at check-in. It's best to check in early and make a reservation. [Shuttle Service] The inn is located quite far from the center of Yunishigawa Onsen. It's about a 15-20 minute walk. The basic shuttle service is from the "Yunishigawa Onsen (final stop)" bus stop, but they will also provide shuttle service from the center of the hot spring town if requested in advance. On the days of the "Kamakura Festival" (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), they will provide shuttle service to the festival grounds after dinner. It's less than a 10-minute walk to the venue, but since it's nighttime during the snowy season, it's wiser to use the shuttle service. They also rent out snow boots when it's snowing."

The instructions for the unmanned self-service hotel were simple and clear, and customer service responded to questions very quickly. Our group of nine was originally allocated only one parking space, but the hotel kindly assisted us by adding an extra space. Since there was a lot of trash due to the large number of guests, we contacted the hotel and they arranged for someone to clean it up. Cooking utensils and cleaning supplies were plentiful. I will definitely return to this hotel next time I travel to Nikko!"
