"We stayed in Nagano and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel is minutes walk to the ski. Rooms are spacious and traditional beds and we had great views of the mountains. So good to have the onsen in the hotel after skiing. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back! 👍"

"Great location great for hoping around the region. Very homey feel which I felt good. I arrived early and the owner helped to store my luggage. Be prepared to buy extra food during low season as there is nothing open after 6pm. Luckily there is one local convenient shop still opened after some search at this very small town."

"Mainly because it’s so convenient! This is the closest hotel to the ropeway! The cable car is 50 meters away, and it is very convenient to eat. One of the shop owners is a beautiful girl from Xinjiang. Her lamb skewers with nanpai are so delicious that I ate them for two days in a row. The video was shot from the hotel window."

"This hotel offers convenient ski-in/ski-out access, perfect for skiers. The open-air onsen is fantastic; a soak after a day on the slopes really helps to relieve fatigue! The room was spacious, but unfortunately, the central air conditioning meant guests couldn't adjust the room temperature, making it a bit too warm. The buffet breakfast and dinner, especially the Japanese food, were decent, but the Western options were just average. Overall, it was okay."

"Very satisfied with the accommodation! If you take the bus yourself, you can ask the guesthouse to arrange a private car to pick you up from Tsugaike Kogen Bus stop (reservations can only be made by phone). The rooms are the same as in the photos, the rooms on the 2nd floor have bathrooms, but the rooms on the 3rd floor do not. The restaurant overlooks the ski resort, and there is free wine during happy hour and dinner. I've stayed in many other B&Bs and hotels that require additional fees. The outdoor hot spring is a bit small and will be crowded if there are more than 4 people. Highly recommended"

"I stayed here for two nights during the Obon holiday. The children in the next room and the owner's children were playing with me, which was very heartwarming. I usually don't eat white rice because I'm on a low-carb diet, but this was so delicious that I had seconds. The ropeway to Tsugaike Nature Park is nearby, so I was able to arrive early and take a walk in the morning, which was great. They recommended wines and I was able to choose from them, which was delicious."
