Nobis Hotel Palma, a Member of Design Hotels

Apart from the non-existent bathroom, we felt very comfortable. The old building of the hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. We will definitely be back, but will choose a higher room category.

What an amazing place! They staff goes above and beyond to accommodate any requests and they genuinely seem happy to work there. The hotel is so beautiful and they did a really nice job restoring it. Our room wasn't very big but I had everything we needed. Breakfasts were really good and, once again, the staff running the restaurant was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We spent some time on the sundeck and that was really nice and quiet. The pool is kind of a weird thing in that it is very small and located in the courtyard where the restaurant is. Definitely didn't see anyone using it while we were there. We had some drinks at the bar. It's a really beautiful place and the bartenders are fairly knowledgeable and able to prepare almost any drink. The spa is really small and very intimate. Probably not a space for more than four people and even then it would be rather crowded. With that said, it's still worth a visit. The location is really convenient for walking around the old town. Overall, great property, with an amazing team.

Disappointing stay, at the Nobis. I stayed at this lovely hotel back in June and frankly delayed in writing this review in part because I was so taken aback by the casual treatment serious issues were handled at this very pricy hotel. My experience was almost comical in its absurdity. We arrived at check in and quickly left the room for activities. On coming back later that evening the lights to the room kept going out after a few minutes. In fact, no -power was coming to the room at all through the outlets. Power would be restored if you opened and closed the door. I summoned several team members that evening who could not resolve the problem. Without any natural light, the bathroom would become completely darkened and not to mention none of the fire safety equipment was operational. We went through the night like this, I continued to pester the staff again the next day until we were casually moved to a new room. The whole time I felt that I wasn’t taken seriously. I kid you not, the next day there was a rainstorm. While I was sitting on the bed, I felt drips of water. The staff response was to send housekeeping with towels. Thankfully the rain stopped. At checkout, not nary an apology for our inconveniences. Like another reviewer commented, it’s not the problems that come up, it’s how they are handled. Overall the response to these concerns was not sufficient and it illuminates real functional issues with the hotel. My complaints weren’t trivial and yet, I had to repeatedly beg for help. No compensation or even an apology was offered. The location of the hotel is nice, but you take your chances if you decide to stay here. At the price point they are at, I’m sure there’s other better options.

Extraordinary design, excellent location , professional and friendly staff, a magnificent historical building in the old town of Palma in walking distance from city center and the major attractions

The location can't be beat, walkable to everything while also being secluded. Keep in mind taxi's are tough to get to the front door as the street are very tight but it is possible. Call ahead to learn more if you have a lot of luggage. Super friendly and helpful staff. Original rooms. Great rooftop yoga and great bar. Gym and saunas are also creative. You feel like you are a guest at your friends old mansion!!

Visited for one night whilst in Palma and was disappointed to leave this place. The hotel is stunning and the service really was brilliant from the moment we walked in. We were welcomed with a glass of cava and shown around the hotel. The room was fairly small for the price but the rest of the hotel is lovely so it makes up for it. The roof terrace was quiet and it was a nice change from the busier places we visited in Palma. Would return for sure!

Beautiful and very well designed space. Hotel bar in the lounge is stunning and has great cocktails. Staff was very welcoming. Unexpected service touches made the stay feel very luxurious. Would love to stay here again.

Had the most incredible long weekend here. The service was immaculate and hotel was stunning. Perfect location to walk into the nicer part of Palma, only around 10-15 min walk to the cathedral, and there's a little square & ice cream shop only a 3/4 min walk away from the hotel! Caters for dietary requirements too (i'm gluten & dairy free and could have oat milk latte's, gluten free bread etc!)

It is obviously disappointing when things go wrong during a hotel stay, but what makes luxury properties stand out, is that management goes above and beyond to ensure that guests feel heard and satisfied with how problems are resolved. Unfortunately, this was not my experience during my hotel stay. The team is ill-equipped to trouble shoot and problem solve - customer service appears to be a low priority at this property. That said, the space is beautiful, and a few members of the team were very helpful and understanding.
