Family getaway First of all, I was amazed at the fact we were welcomed and checked in long before 2 pm, as soon as we arrived at noon. Next great thing was that the receptionist helped us to swipe rooms, as we booked one king size bed but for the family of four it was a bit inconvenient, so in a matter of 10 minutes we got a spacious room with 2 wide beds. So the night sleep was unmatched. The location- from the first glance - looked a bit weird, coz actually the hotel is the part of the bigger residential area, although multi-stored houses are still in the stage of development and not fully inhabited. But, on the second day, when we explored the whole area we found out there were much much worse districts with entirely damaged roads, abandoned structures and left behind businesses. So after that ugly image I changed my initial impression and have to say the hotel is just right for family and perfect rest. We had a wonderful time while taking baths and even the hot springs square isn’t large we counted no less than 20 bath tubs with great proportion of aromatic and herb additives so you may enjoy the fragrance while bathing. Meantime you also can sip various herbal tea or water at the bar or have a nap on the hot stone platform. Cool place for kids too, with the separate pool, mini aqua park, swimming pool for adults was also beautiful though not the right season for swimming. Nice playground for infants and snooker tables for adults. We loved the breakfast too, many options including European food and coffee. Maybe one of the best benefits of choosing this hotel was proximity to the gorgeous mountain park also designed for families with young kids. The zigzag mountain road, the panoramic views and the hiking trail were simply amazing. Traveling that area means you may try local food which is goose, duck and home raised chickens, river fish and the main local specialty- rice cooked in the bamboo tree. All tasted great.

A spacious, elegant hotel with wonderful hot springs. The hotel has several restaurants, so you can dine without leaving the premises. The grounds are very pleasant. I especially want to note the responsiveness of the staff. Employees promptly provide information about the schedule of events at the hotel and help with any current issues. We were running late for our train and couldn't get a taxi. The staff took the initiative and helped us arrange a car. Thank you to Amy for her organization, friendliness, and responsiveness! Thanks to her and her colleague, we made it to our train without rushing. We will be back! We remember our stay with joy!

I had booked this hotel last week, but had to cancel it temporarily due to a typhoon. Fortunately, I finally got the chance to stay here this time. In fact, we have stayed at several other nice hotels in Shuangyue Bay before. We chose this one because it is currently the newest and best hotel in the area. During our check-in, we would like to express our special thanks to Judy for her thoughtful arrangements. She not only proactively upgraded our room, but also gave us a complimentary fruit platter and even extended our check-out time. Every little detail made us feel extremely warm. Overall, we were very impressed with this hotel. As a new hotel, it has complete and well-functioning facilities, The room is extremely spacious and the environment is very clean and tidy. What's more noteworthy is that the hotel itself is equipped with an excellent scenic area. There are mountains, waters and multiple viewing platforms in the scenic area, which all my family members really loved. Thanks to this wonderful stay experience, I believe that when we come to Shuangyue Bay next time, we will still choose to stay at this hotel.

Nice River and Lake view Wide choice in breakfast buffet Air-conditioning is NOT very good. It was hot in a room, and it was difficult to sleep Surprisingly, room service asked to pay for extra drinking water. Did not experience this in any other hotels.

My recent visit to Huizhou brought me to the Lavande Hotel, located near the Huiyang Station. The rooms are clean and spacious, with smart features like automated curtains that add a nice touch of convenience. For those who enjoy in-room entertainment, some rooms are equipped with Bluetooth audio and large projection screens, which is a great bonus. Service and Staff Based on my experience and other reviews I've seen, the staff at the Lavande Hotel are generally very warm and helpful. The front desk staff were particularly accommodating, and I was pleased with their professionalism. They were quick to assist with requests, and many guests have noted that the staff go out of their way to be cheerful and welcoming. What to Consider While the hotel offers a very pleasant stay, there are a few things to keep in mind. The hotel is located in a bustling area, so some street noise is to be expected, which might affect light sleepers. Also, while the facilities are generally modern, some older reviews mention outdated equipment like TVs. Overall, the hotel seems to consistently get high marks for its cleanliness and service. Overall Impression I had a very positive experience at the Lavande Hotel. The combination of clean, modern rooms and a welcoming atmosphere, all enhanced by the pleasant lavender scent, made for a great stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

2024/04/05-08 Park Plaza Hotel in Nankunshan in Guangdong The hotel's meals are truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in China! They have put so much effort into my food, who cannot eat everything. The weekend there was really pleasant even though it was raining badly all the time. After I talked to the hotel and a manager for about 2 hours that evening when I arrived, to find out if they would be able to give me something to eat, because I'm allergic to several things, I really did not expect much. They said they would bring it to my room... What a pleasant surprise the next morning and the 2 other mornings !!! The most beautiful and most delicious food you can imagine!! Wow and they are far from cities, thus they prepared it with what they had!! 😊🌸🌻👍🏻 The staff were also so polite and friendly!! Unfortunately there was no map of the resort and also not clear signs. I couldn't understand the cryptic directions to the hotsprings the reception gave...😱 Thus I had to wait till the lights came on, then I could see where the lights at the pools were .. Perhaps they can put a ”roof” or cover over some pools, then it will be more enjoyable when raining... Because if the rain, the roof swimming pool was closed, but beautiful view from there. There are so many beautiful nature places nearby to explore and fir hiking, but unfortunately the weather was not good as the rain was pouring! Perhaps the hotel can buy the ugly murals or ruins or half-built buildings that damage and interrupt the beautiful views of trees... It is really a sore eye in the beautiful view... then they can renovate and finish the buildings... I really hope one day I can go again!! But everywhere I have been telling people of this great hotel and will keep on doing it!! 👍🏻🌻😊

I had a great stay here. The bed in the rooms are extremely comfortable. There are many options for breakfast. The amenities are superb with a bar, gym, indoor and outdoor pool. The outdoor pool looks directly onto the beach. It is perfect to relax and pass the time. The balconies face the sea so you can relax and listen to the waves. Thanks to Camilla for her kind welcome and for making sure we had a good stay. I hope to visit soon.

I highly recommend this hotel to all types of travelers. I got a free upgrade to a family suite room with the beautiful view of the sea. The infinity pool at the 31st floor is truly amazing with the magnificent view of the ocean. The staff is gracious especially Lynn Huang who greets you at the reception with a warm smile. Fromt seat of the hotel fireworks from the room. Love this hotel! Will surely come back with family again.

We had pleasant family vacation at the Howard Johnson resort Huizhou. The best thing was the service and staff attitude, especially the General Manager Mr. Rajan, He is a gem of a person at this resort. Since the day we arrived he took care of all our needs. I had business meetings every day so, he arranged a special office room for me. When we wanted to go out he arranged a family car for the 5 of us. He also introduced to a bigger family suite room in case we wanted change, and gave us free activity tickets for the kids. When we checkout he arranged another family car for us, It was difficult for us to book a Didi XL car on the way to the hotel, so he found the solution and pre-booked a car for us. We would like to thank Ms. Tracy and Ms. Helena for being very helpful with all the coordination, as well as the restaurant manager, Ms. Angelina, for her warm hospitality and care. It’s the perfect place for a family vacation. The kids had a blast with the kids play area and water activities like kayaking, sliding and animal feeding, There’s a lot to do. We really enjoyed the cold weather with the hot springs. There are 19 different flavors of hot springs to experience. The kids loved the hot tub on balcony and enjoyed watching the fireworks while bathing. We booked a family suite with a bunk bed, and they also provided us with a baby crib, suite size is good enough for us. There are many other activities on the beach that we enjoyed, that the terrain car ride. There is a studio near the lobby that is an addition designed to capture beautiful professional photos that will always cherish your memories. They provide nice costumes and make up I don’t remember her name, but she is so patient and very helpful. Overall it was a pleasant stay. We always feel at home away home from here.

The hotel itself has a nice location on the beachside, and the pools are generally well maintained. The hotel and surrounding area are looking very tired however, with much of it needing maintenance or just not being used at all. The lifts are also in need of an update. Despite this, it's generally an okay hotel, the rooms are fine and have good views.
