"The hotel is in a great place just a few minutes walk from the train station. The hotel is a lovely building and the reception area/bar is bright and welcoming. The staff all seemed very nice and helpful. We had a lovely big room with a massive bed and a wonderful walk in shower. The things that let the room down were the cleanliness (coffee up the wall and skirting board and bits on the bathroom floor) and also the terrible soft poor quality pillows. When I read that the room had a free mini bar I expected more than two cans of water and two tunnocks wafers that were never replenished after the first day! Another big minus for us was that when we had read several descriptions of the hotel they had mentioned lovely Scottish food in the restaurant. We went down on the last night and were told the only food was the food which was on the room service menu (which wasn’t a lot of choice) and it was served in the bar area. The breakfast in the morning was beautiful though with lots of choices of fruit/ cereals/ pastries and then cooked food."

"Cannot fault this Hotel the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and know their job inside out special mention for Morven who goes above and beyond a staff member that the Hotel should be proud to have on their payroll. Rooms lovely, fresh and very clean. Food and drink available 24 hours. Location is great. Metres from the bus station, loads of shops on the doorstep a cinema complex and a concert hall right across the road and I found 3 Italian restaurants within 400 metres radius. Taxi to the Hydro a mere £8.00 and was outside the Hotel seconds from ordering. Stayed in many Hotels in Glasgow why I never picked this one before I will never know but it will be my go too Glasgow Hotel from now on"

"Lovely hotel and perfectly placed for our visit, sadly the room we had was very hot so we opted for opening the window but then all night the hum of the heating or air con or something(not sure which) was so noisy , we had a terrible nights sleep. The park across the way was great for a run. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff so helpful. I would stay again and just not open a window ! Thanks to all the lovely staff."

"We were allocated a double room but were offered a family room when they learnt that we were a family of three (including a kid), for no extra cost. We declined that offer. The room was slightly small, TV operated with a lag and searching for popular channels was a pain. The AC unit was old and not noiseless. The washroom was clean and equipped. Wished that the water from shower was hotter than offered. Breakfast was identical everyday, making it the most boring part of our stay. The property is tucked in one corner of the area and there is not much around in a 100 meter radius unless one is interested to view a slush-filled river."

BBeth.BenWe had stayed here for two nights, I can't comment on the food/drink as we went out as most places were a short walk away. The location was very good with being a short walk to Glasgow Central train station and city centre.
Reception staff were friendly checking in, however the room we were given had not been cleaned... Went back to reception and they had apologised and changed our room with a slight upgrade.
This room was immaculate and all the amenities gave it that little bit extra luxurious touch; use of a cosy white robe, slippers, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. I loved the sustainability efforts with their toiletries being plant based and vegan friendly! The bathroom had a rain shower with really good pressure and easily enough to control and a bathtub.
The only cons were there was a small towel rail in the bathroom which was a slight struggle to fit them on to dry.
The TV in the bedroom area did not work and we only found this out on our last night.
There was only one lift operating and the other one was out of service, so best to leave anywhere in plenty of time.

Upon arrival we received the best customer service from the most lovely and lively man behind the desk named Mohammad.
Incredibly easy to check in, he said he gave us a room with a great view of the city and the water - boy, he did!
Absolutely glorious view and the hotel room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed and sky TV.
I wish we had read properly/known in advance that there was a sauna and steam room within the hotel as we would have come prepared.
We will be back again and be more prepared. Absolutely loved our stay.

AAmazingSurpriseStayed at the Courtyard by Marriott near the SEC/Ovo Hydro for a gig and it was ideal. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable — exactly what you want after a late night. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice, and we had food at the bar in the evening which was also spot on. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The location is perfect if you're going to a show at the Hydro or Armadillo — it's basically a 5-minute walk so no hassle getting back after the event. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in Glasgow for a concert.

staff was extremely efficient, cooperative,Helpful. Pleasant stay good sleep
would definitely recommend this and travel again to this hotel, thank you.

MMisafir Kullanıcıvery outdated hotel. Checking-in agent couldn't find my booking despite providing all the relevant details, and was very off with us, until she found the booking on the system. I would expect a fridge or an iron in the room for the cost. There was no water in the rooms on arrival (This is standard everywhere!). There was no air-conditioning, and the room was like an oven, so we didn't really sleep. We opened the window, but could hear really oud music, so it was a lose lose scenario. The location was great and i would say the breakfast was lovely, for what was left at 9:30 in the morning, but that's about it.
We were both really disappointed. We won't be staying again. BTW, i've stayed at multiple Mercure hotels over the years, and this was by far the worst one. Not sure if this hotel was acquired from another hotel chain based or whoever based on the night and day experiences with previous visits to a Mercure hotel, but we won't be staying in one of your establishments for quite some time, if at all....doesn't seem worth it.

PPaul.C75Location not in the city centre but still OK as very close to the bus station. A very small car park underneath but reasonable price (£8/24 hrs, without multiple entries). Luckily it's not under heatwave....the air-con is very weak but provided with an electric fan (I believe the hotel also realise this point). Ventilation inside toilet and bathroom also very very weak. I didn't try any other facilities so there is no comment. Staff are nice. The room is adequate size.

MMisafir KullanıcıUpon arrival, I was allowed to check in early by 30 minutes which I am thankful for. Upon. Entering, the door can't be open using the card (room 114). A staff needed to unscrew and replace a battery. The shower head can't be regulated to hot, only cold, yet the faucet can be regulated fully, and it can't even be close properly so I called someone to fix it late at night because I didn't want for the tub to overflow, and closing it requires a lot of strength specially for women like me. I told the receptionist (a man) that the room he gave me was giving me a lot of stress, and he seemed annoyed and said, ”whatever ” instead. A group of people with children arrived, and were noisy, and it can all.be heard inside the room. After midnight, since my room was facing the parking lot, a car alarmed ever so loudly for less than 2 minutes and it was a disrupted night. The the room was very clean but the amenities are bad which made my experience a nightmare. The breakfast served was a delight. The staff were very welcoming except for the man who checked me in.
