"Pai Vintage Garden Resort truly impressed me with its delightful blend of comfort, convenience, and tranquility. My stay in one of their bungalows was fantastic; the air conditioning kept the room perfectly cool, and I was especially pleased with the excellent water pressure and reliable hot water in the bathroom – such a luxury after a day of exploring!
Everything felt exceptionally clean, from the common areas to my room, which was tidied daily – a thoughtful touch that made a big difference. For those of us who need to stay connected, the stable internet at a speedy 40 Mbps was a huge plus.
Breakfast was a daily highlight, offering a great selection of different options to start the day right. While the resort itself is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, you're not too far from the action. A 7-Eleven is just a 7-11 minute walk away, and the main city center is about a 20-30 minute stroll.
What really stood out was the very friendly service from the staff. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable."

"Fantastic hotel for the price. It has all the necessary amenities and the hospitality was great. They 10 minutes walk to the main Street with plenty of bars and restaurants and cafe. The hotel also offer a free shuttle service to bring you there but we didn't find it necessary. Hotel has a large bathtub in the room which is cool."

"The rooms were spacious and quiet, the pool was nice to sit by and the breakfast was very varied, delicious and efficiently presented. Also it is a perfect location -far enough away from the Walking street (15 minute walk or 3 minute motorbike ride) to be quiet and right off the main road to Pai Canyon, the caves, the waterfalls and hot springs, and the northern reaches of the Mae Hong Son loop. We will be back!"

"This was fun for two of us,I used Bolt to book a ride going to this place it's about 7km from Pai bus station but sad they accept and message asking 300 baht for a ride but suppose to be 100 baht in the apps. So what we did Cancel them and rent a 🏍 for 150 baht for 24 hours,good deal!and fuel for 60 baht.

"I recently stayed at this Hotel, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel at home right away. From the moment we arrived until well after we left, Teaw went above and beyond in every possible way. After returning to Chiang Mai, I realized I had accidentally left behind my camera and hairdryer at the hotel. Teaw not only contacted me immediately after discovering the items (even though I missed the call), but he also personally arranged for them to be delivered to me via a local driver—at his own expense. He clearly explained how I could collect them, and when I finally received my belongings, they were perfectly packed and undamaged. Teaw is truly a trustworthy and outstanding staff member, and I’m so grateful for his help.
As for the hotel itself—it’s a peaceful retreat deeply connected to nature. The lush gardens, blooming flowers, and bamboo-built rooms offer a unique and calming atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was always plenty of hot water. Breakfast was another highlight: generous, delicious, and full of variety. I especially loved the rich white Tom Yum soup, high-quality yogurt, creamy butter, and the wide selection of breads, including both multigrain and white options.
The dining area was warm and inviting, and the swimming pool and relaxation zones were absolutely beautiful—perfect spots to unwind and enjoy the serenity around.
But what truly sets this hotel apart is the genuine care and kindness shown by the staff. You can feel it while you’re there, and you continue to feel it even after you’ve left. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you again, especially to Teaw—you made all the difference.

The bungalows are spread across the landscaped terraces, separated by flowering trees and fish ponds. The resort sits among the rice fields of the Pai River valley, with views of mountain ranges on two sides. The setting is peaceful -- with the sounds of tree frogs, wild birds, geckos and the occasional farm animal providing a natural orchestra. The new owner, Vanda, is a fantastic hostess and goes out of her way to make sure your stay is comfortable and you have the information you need to make the most out of Pai's many attractions. In Jan 2023 the resort installed new, spring mattresses and upgraded internet service and wifi technology to the best available in Thailand. The free, high-speed wifi service is available resort-wide, making the Pond Terrace a perfect shared workspace for digital nomads and those traveling for work. The breakfast options (included in the price) included Muesli with yogurt or honey, French Toast, or full American Breakfast. Fresh tropical fruit from local farms is included with each. Finally, the coffee options included American coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte made from freshly ground coffee beans from northern Thailand. We have lived and travelled in Thailand for 8 years. This resort ticks all the boxes! We will return--often!

MMisafir KullanıcıI had such wonderful time here, that I extended my stay twice. The atmosphere here is calm and everyone is so nice and helpful. The stuff always did their best to help with any sort of question, big or small.
The room was nice and cozy even during some rainy days. You can rent a bike at the reception, all of Pai's key attractions are only 10-15 minutes ride away.
It was a truly amazing stay, I am sad to leave.

Thanks to the pure white walls, I was able to use my mobile projector to enjoy Netflix on a massive 100-inch screen, which was a unique experience.
The riverside terrace offered a wonderful sense of openness and was perfect for relaxing-highly recommended for couples. One thing to note is that the walls are not soundproof, so if you have noisy neighbors, you may need to be prepared.
The location is excellent, just a 3-minute walk to Pai Walking Street, which is the lively heart of Pai, filled with food stalls, shops, and a vibrant atmosphere every evening[1][3][7]. To reach the hotel, you’ll cross a nostalgic wooden bridge; I suggest parking your motorbike at the end of the bridge.
Many guests, myself included, enjoyed relaxing along the riverside at night, lying back and soaking in the peaceful ambiance. During my stay, I even helped a child from overseas gently remove a cicada from their room-these insects may be loud, but they’re completely harmless and rather cute.
The hotel’s reception area was home to friendly dogs and cats, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. All in all, I had a wonderful three-night stay here. I highly recommend this hotel for couples looking to create special memories in Pai.

SSilverfootI stayed here for a few nights in November 2025. It is a family run business and the mother of the owner is normally the one that takes care of the place. It is located in the countryside and you can expect to see and hear chickens and other animals. While the cottages are a walkable distance (2km) from the town, you are much better off renting a scooter if staying here. The cottages are quaint, but not the best construction. You can see many places where the concrete walls are cracking. Also, sometimes the doors don't closes correctly, but overall, I found the place to be comfortable. The TV in the rooms is quite small and old, but they do have an HDMI port to use a fire stick with. The water pressure is good and the hot water heater works. The bathroom is small and everything is contained in one area so you will get the toilet and everything wet when showering. You can see a walk through review I did on youtube.

However, I do not recommend walking to and from the accomodation early in the morning or late at night as dogs are quite agressive and harass any passers by on the main road. For most people getting a scooter this wont be a problem, but if you have an early or late arrival into Pai then this is worth considering. The room was cleaned during our stay, it wasnt needed but would of been nice .

SSEK SEKwe love the villa. we was upgraded by Mr Van to the Grand Villa which consist of 3 rooms of course with a private pool too. Mr Van & Sam are so helpful every time i have requests they will fulfil it . It was a memorable & relaxing stay in this secluded area . We love it. Definitely will be back when i'm Pai. 🤩

MMisafir KullanıcıIf you're looking for a truly immersive cultural experience, this is the place for you. It wasn't quite what I expected, but in a unique and memorable way. The ”cottage room” was charming but different from what I anticipated. It had no windows, except for the door, and the walls were constructed with bamboo, and for the windows there were branches that created gaps instead of traditional glass windows. As a result, I could hear the loud music from neighboring guests and the constant hum of traffic from the nearby road. Thankfully, earplugs were provided to help dull the noise.
I stayed in early November, when the weather was cool and rainy, so it wasn’t uncomfortable, but I imagine it could be much less pleasant during the summer months, despite the fan provided in the room. The communal bathroom is separate from the cottages but has a cozy, quaint feel.
The hostess was an absolute delight—welcoming, warm, and kind-hearted. Her generosity made the stay even more special. Overall, it was a one-of-a-kind experience that I won't soon forget.
