A cosy family-friendly enchanted hideaway in the mountains with the clouds. The whole place seems to have been a long-time passion in creating the most charming and comfortable inn from conception to realisation with both the exterior and interior decorated in either a rustic country cottage or a European apartment style from the last century. We were so happy here and my child especially appreciated the room and all of its surroundings. Every nook and cranny of the place is excellently utiilised. From the dining room as well as the main outside eatery balcony, one has a beautiful view of the mountainside in all its greenery with butterflies flitting amongst flowers. Don't forget to check out the third story balconies and the library. Screen projector fittings are in place for a medium-sized conference. The place even has a couple of majiang table nooks should you want to play with friends. The surrounding forest environment of the inn is all sorts of paths and green terraces going off in different directions. There is a playpark for children with its own pedal-powered mini-roller coaster and other items for children to climb on. There is an off-site pond and ancient stone bridge nearby. One can take a short hike up the driveway and explore the diverging walking track paths. There's also an ecological technology exhibition centre not far up the road from the inn. A large portion of the clientele when we were there were day trip visitors in family and friend groups. Big tables as well as KTV facilities could be booked for the day. The food quality is fantastic and the portions generous. There are no nearby shops so all meals are taken in-house; the staff will consult you about when and what is on offer from the extensive menu. You can specify whether you'd want your food spicy or not when possible depending on the dish. The genuinely friendly and accomodating staff take such good care of you and step in whenever they feel you may need some assistance. My child had a bad cough at the time, and they were so kind bringing her hot drinks with honey and offering medicine they happened to have there. My Chinese is not good, but with a standard translation app, you're able to communicate what you need and the staff are so obliging to help. They genuinely do seem to be happy to be working there, and cudos and credit it to the owner for taking such good care of the staff that they in turn carry it over to their care for their guests. It was a pleasure to meet them and the owner.

Lovely little B&B in the sleepy town of Gongtan. The owners were very kind and warm people who not only helped us with our luggage, they made us feel at home by chatting with us over a wonderfully prepared home cooked breakfast and gave us food suggestions in the town. Location was good - not the nearest from the entrance to the town but central enough to access each side of the town easily.

As an adventurous solo traveller, Chongqing is the first city I visit for my very first time visiting Mainland China...and Futon hotel is definitely a memorable stay. Unbeknownst to the hotel management, the day I checked into the hotel, I had problem with my Alipay and literally did not have any money on my very first day in China. And the hotel did not know that without them realising, their hospitality and amenities the hotel provided actually ease my worries during that 24 hour ordeal. The payment process were all prebooked online, it was smooth and the moment I came into the lobby, they provided me cold tea and plum (which was at that time, LITERALLY the only food I ate that morning) and used their existing coupon for afternoon tea (which was LITERALLLY my only meal that whole day) where thanks to their afternoon tea coupon, I got to eat complimentary cake and tea that afternoon which INCREDIBLY lifted my mood, I almost given up on my vacation because of the Alipay but then again, without the hotel even knowing my troubles, I received wechat info of the management upgrading my private hotspring room into their best and most spacious suite since I'm their first visitor from Brunei Darussalam. I was very touched by their hospitality, honestly. The prepaid breakfast was a lifesaver, I was able to eat the next day before finally able to get my Alipay restrictions lifted. Honestly, Futon hotel gave me HOPE that it's worth staying a couple more days in China incase Alipay able to resolve my payment issue. Futon hotel unknowingly gave me emotional safety and comfort during that 24 hour ordeal. Thankfully by the 2nd day, I am able to make payments. and the cherry on top for this incredible hotel? I got a gift bag from them during my checkout, I will cherish my very memorable stay at Futon despite the troubles I had during that first 24 hour in China. I made a good call to choose this hotel, they unknowingly helped me during my troubled day. Thank you Futon hotel, I wish you the best in your bussiness. Keep on maintaining that great hospitality and the amenities you have, you have unknowingly helped a troubled solo traveller that day. Now I am already a week in China when I post this review and stayed at different hotels, I still cherish the memories I had in Futon hotel. This was the coolest hotel/glamping experience I've ever had, and that means a lot since my hometown is Calgary, Canada, the camping haven of the globe. We stayed in the king size bed tent room and we immediately felt cozy and comfortable in our tent. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful with making sure that our tent was nice and warm for the night even in the cold winter weather of the WuLong mountaintop region. He even drove us to the nearby tourist centre and back for free of charge to make sure we can enjoy our sightseeing experience completely hassle-free! The breakfast was delicious and we had so much fun playing with their adorable puppies on their beautifully spacious camping ground. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy the WuLong Karst tourism region and escape the hustle and bustle of the city life in ChongQing. I'm so glad we got to have such a lovely time in WuLong, thanks to the kind owners of this place. Much love from Canada ❤️❤️❤️

Room was great, very clean and a great view and very comfy bed. Location was perfect round the corner from pedestrian area. Owner was really helpful and nice. Instructions for check in could’ve been clearer but once we met owner he was very helpful and it was easy to find from there. Couldn’t ask for more!

It is a pleasant surprise to stay in Friendly Nanyuan Jiangjing Meisu. It is close to Jiefangbei Hongyadong. It is very convenient to travel. The Jiangjing Room has a wide view and good scenery. The room layout is warm and hygienic. The service is meticulous. The cost performance is very high. It is right to choose this hotel in Chongqing!

Since my flight arrival was early in the morning so I was searching in trip.com for hotel that is near the airport and also offer airport pickup. Qinin Hotel matched my conditions. The arrangement for pickup was not very easy for foreign guests unless you have a local China number. Nevertheless, we managed to take a Didi to this hotel. The room is of decent size but it is located opposite the hotel lobby. The hotel also provides simple breakfast. All in all it was a present 1 night stay.

The property could benefit from some updates and maintenance. One of the queen bedrooms was converted from a balcony, making it extremely cold during winter. Additionally, the heater in one of the rooms next to the hall was not working, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep through the night. The bathroom in one of the rooms remained choked throughout our stay, and overall, the bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned. The kitchen also lacked proper cleanliness, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the view from the hall was decent, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make up for the shortcomings in comfort and cleanliness.

”I’ve seen comments saying that the cheaper single rooms in China tend to reek of cigarette smoke, but thankfully this hotel had no tobacco smell at all—that was a plus. That said, it didn’t feel as clean as the reviews suggested. Still, the owner was friendly, so I’d say it’s fine overall.”
