The property itself is nice. But we had an unfortunate incident during my family's stay on Chris**as night. At around 1:30 a.m., two men came into our room unannounced while we were sleeping. They were likely surprised to see other people there and left. A little while later, we heard loud banging on the door and a shouted request to open the door. Two men from hotel staff were there, and one demanded to know who we were and said we weren't supposed to be in that room. His tone was aggressive and unfriendly. It was the same man who had checked us in that night (how else would we be in the room?) This went on for a few minutes until I showed him our reservation and he finally recognized us and apologized. He said he would comp us for the inconvenience. When we checked out the next day, no mention was made of the incident so I asked. I was told an assistant manager would call me. He did not. A day or two later I called back and spoke to the assistant manager. He said they don't "comp" rooms but could offer points. He didn't apologize until prompted, said he would investigate and get back to me. He has not called back. Needless to say, it was scary and disturbing to have strangers walk into your room at that hour while you are sleeping, then be accused of something you didn't do, then get the run around from management about any kind of compensation (and a less than adequate apology). Whatever the mix-up was, this standard of customer service is unacceptable.
