"The hotel was clean and spacious. The coffee bar in the entrance was always stocked and ready for you to drink your coffee. The rooms were clean and mostly equipped. Our room never had a microwave but there was one in the lobby. The pool was a bit cool, but they did accomplish us to use the neighbouring hotel pool. Also the neighbouring hotel had a pool table that we also used. Breakfast was delicious and had various selections. Would stay here again."

"After arriving at Phoenix Airport Terminal 3, I asked the staff: There is a place where I can wait for shuttle buses from different hotels to pick me up. I saw Hilton, Marriott, Holiday Inn, etc., but there was no Holiday Inn Express Hotel bus. However, the webpage when I booked the room said there was a free shuttle. In the end, I had to call an Uber to go to the hotel, which was not satisfactory!"

"Don't let the pictures fool you. I'm so disappointed! Stayed for two night and booked 2 rooms and both were very disappointing. One had a strong ********* odor another smelled like sweat and old. The pool was small and dirty as well. The room's leather furnitures' were peeling off as well. I will never book this hotel again."

"Very interesting hotel with history. Visited every floor to check out background of the hotel. It was like a museum. Good 5 min walk to Mortgage event ctr. Resturants & pubs around. No parking facility for hotel but parked bout 5 min from place on W. Monroe where you can go in and out. Some parking facilities you can't go in and out for one price. Yes I would stay their again as the staff was very friendly & easy to talk to."

"The hotel is close to the airport but not within a quick walking distance to shops/restaurants. The front desk staff were helpful upon checkin. They have a small shop and vending machines where you can purchase small items (bottled water & snacks). The room was clean, hotel was modern, and bed was comfortable. The challenge with it being close to the airport is you can hear airplanes going over all night so it is not entirely quiet. The pet floor is the first floor so if you are allergic to pets you will want to stay on an upper floor. The hotel is good for 1-2 night say if you transiting through Phoenix."
