"My family told me that the environment and breakfast were pretty good. I didn't originally want to leave this review, but after thinking about it, I'm still unhappy, so I'm coming back to review after a long time. I booked the hotel for my elderly family members, and to save them trouble, I booked all their hotels with breakfast. However, at this particular hotel, they were told that for two rooms and four people, only two breakfasts were included. My family said they'd buy two more breakfasts, and on the staff's recommendation, they signed up for a HUAZHU loyalty membership. I only found out about this two days later when my family casually mentioned it after they returned. So I contacted the hotel staff to deal with it. The front desk initially took the call. After I explained the situation, the staff said she would get the manager to handle it. After hearing the situation, the manager said that there might have been a system error at the time that didn't show the breakfast, and they could help apply for a membership refund, which would take about a week. I thought that was acceptable. About ten days later, I called to inquire about the membership refund. The front desk answered. I asked how much longer the refund would take, and the front desk said she didn't know. I asked if she could give an estimated time, and she still said she didn't know, with a somewhat impatient attitude. She also told me that the hotel didn't collect this money, and that if the membership and coupons hadn't been used, the refund would require approval from headquarters. My anger stems from the front desk's unhelpful remarks. While the money might not have gone directly to the hotel, wasn't it your work error that caused the breakfast not to show up, leading to this trouble for us? It would have been fine to just explain it politely. Instead, they completely shifted the blame to the system. So why did the other room show breakfast? Shouldn't someone have verified why four people in two rooms only had two breakfasts? It's fine to answer problems normally, but the sarcastic tone is just very off-putting!"
