Just arrived home from this hotel. As a disabled guest (wheelchair user) the hotel isn't accessible to reception. There is a wooden ramp that takes you through a side door but you cannot get to the reception desk. If you are alone and in a wheelchair you cannot reach the buzzer and the ramp is not always down and he door is locked However once in, the lifts take you everywhere you need to go. On the face of it the hotel is beautiful. But. We asked for an accessible room. We were allocated two rooms the first 432 which wasn't accessible. But was small and had a great view. The second across the corridor was accessible. No view. When you opened the window you were faced with a pitch black space with what I think was a water tank. The room smelt. The shower room was not very good. The seat was rusted and stuck at an angle so you couldn't sit and it forced you out of the shower tray. Rust fell each time you showered into the tray. The shower head had a mind of its own as did the control. The rooms on the 4th floor are old and in desperate need of attention. Missing fittings dirty/ stained lamp shades and some lights didn't work. No extractor fan The upper rooms were beautiful. Most common areas were beautiful but in the restaurant lots of stains and damage on the ceiling. Breakfast was good but the hot food was cold. The staff exemplary. There was no sign of a pool. But a great gym but a little snug and if you ate tall you don't have much head room next to the window on the equipment. We went down in the lift to the beach. This was awful. An open construction site which has been the same since 2017 is a UK health and safety nightmare. A table saw rusting away. Power cables strewn across the ground nails sticking up and a peice of wood laid across the blade. No access to the beach safely and none for me due to the above. Be careful if you buy drinks in the bar. Very expensive €15 for gin and tonic. €4.50 for a cup of tea. Had several occasions to return tea due to fishy smell and taste. Maintenance hadn't repaired it during our stay. But another hot water tap was fine. The hotel is next to the port which is busy and not ideal if you don't sleep well.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Hotel Raito in vietri sul Mare! The hotel has a great pool, a well maintained garden and a restaurant where we used our breakfast where nothing was missing. Our room had a beautiful view over the Gulf of Salerno, both daytime and nighttime. We were very glad with this service! Beside this service, the staff of the desk, in the restaurant and near the pool were very friendly and willingly help us when we asked for it. We used the penddle bus a couple of times and that was an extra service to go to the city or to the beach of Vietri. We highly recommend this hotel!

This small Boutique Hotel is an absolute gem. We stayed for 4 nights and traveled around Southern Italy. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Hotel is immaculately clean. Decor is extremely pleasant. There is gentle music playing on the corridor of the hotel which is a fantastic idea in terms of privacy. Plenty of options for breakfast. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to family and friends.

The hotel is ok, some weird rules around the pool where you are obligated to wear a cap in order to access it. The safe guard is very persistent on keeping this rule. The restaurant was surprisingly better than expected. It takes about 1.5h to reach amalfi by the car from hotel. Hotel has a parking lot which is def a perk. The rooms were ok and clean.

Hotel Olimpico is a lovely hotel and spotlessly clean inside and out AND the rooms are cleaned every day ; good breakfast selection ; pool bar and has a great pool area where you can also order food. The reception ladies are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The bar staff Davide, Sergio, Michel & Daniel ( sorry if I missed anyone) were brilliant ! Very welcoming and again nothing was too much trouble for them, whether you have 1 or several drinks they are all great barman and an asset to the hotel ! The location was a bit out of the way for us but there was a free shuttle which was a god send as it was 50 euros each way in a taxi to the port in Salerno. The area itself is run down with bars and restaurants along the front either closed, boarded up or derelict so we were quite relieved when the taxi drew up in front of the hotel but a bit disappointed not to be able to have a walk along to a bar or restaurant outside of the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean but a bit drab and colourless. Sadly we were directly above the kitchen area so we were woken daily very early by the noise of the metal ramp being used to ferry food to the restaurant for breakfast (I presume) and the air conditioning didn't work although I did report this. We stayed here for 8 days for my husbands 50th birthday with friends and for the most part our experience was a good one. First night we ate in the restaurant just the 2 of us and felt the manager was a bit off and sharp but didn't take too much notice. Our friends arrived the next day and a few days later after a long day out we decided to eat in the restaurant and assured them the food was good based on our first meal. However, 11 of my mussels did not open which was over half my starter and our friend['s starters of grilled cheese and vegetables were cold. My main meal came out and the chicken was pink & raw but after sending it back and it still wasn't cooked I decided to leave it. Our friend ordered steak medium but it was raw when it came out. Not wanting to send food back again he ate the edges and left the rest. The blonde waitress couldn't raise a smile, literally threw our food at us and had no table manners at all and the manager and his sidekick with the glasses did not at any time come to our table to enquire if there was a problem nor offer a solution - they just raised their eyebrows, muttered under their breath nodding towards our table and completely ignored us ! Only the nice young waiter (didn't get his name) who took my food back was so apologetic but apart from that they weren't interested in our table at all and made it quite clear they did not care. When we paid he begrudgingly knocked off my meal and 1 steak meal but this wasn't the issue. The issue was their attitude towards us was disgraceful ! As paying customers you expect to be treated with courtesy and if you are unable to do this then you should not be in hospitality so for the rest of our stay we did not eat

We stayed here for 10 nights at the end of October/November time. There had been lots of changes with air travel but the hotel accommodated everything for us. We had a suite for the full 10 nights which we can recommend, very comfortable and enough space to move around in when staying for a while. The balcony overlooked the valleys and hills in the distance, and the hotel gardens which are spacious and well kept. Rooms were serviced when requested, and the minibar/fridge was a welcome addition to our comfort. We had a hire car which we were able to park securely at the bottom of the hill from the hotel, less than 5 minutes walk away. There is a little shop you can pop into on the way to/from the car park which is run by a charming man who will provide sandwiches, lunch items, etc if you want them, as well as other everyday items. Breakfast at the hotel is included, and of a high standard. The restaurant serves high quality food from a small but acceptable menu, and as we were staying for a while we found them very accommodating for making things for us that weren’t on the menu, or changing menu items to our taste (eg no nuts, etc). The food appeared fresh and was cooked and served with care and with friendly and professional service. The chef regularly sent us free appetisers of a high quality too. We were even treated to some wine lessons and recommendations by our knowledgeable host, which was really nice and welcomed by us. The bar was well stocked, and snacks were served with our aperitif every time, sometimes hot from the kitchen and other times nibbles from the local area. We went to a local restaurant (La Foce) a few times too for a bit of variety, and had no problems there or with the hotel doing this. The other restaurant is about 15/20 mins walk away up hill, but downhill coming back! It seems hotel guests often go there, and they looked after us very well too. The reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and gave us some welcome suggestions for things to do, including providing info on the best way to travel the fairly nearby Amalfi Coast by ferry. We had a really nice stay and were able to really relax after the trials and tribulations of the previous year and a half due to covid. We felt safe at this hotel too, and they were well aware of safety measures to reduce any risks for guests and staff. We can wholeheartedly recommend this venue for a relaxing stay with access to the local area. We found it useful to have a car, although there is a regular local bus service too for guests who want to use public transport. This makes the hotel more accessible to all guests even though it is high up on a hill, the views are breathtaking though and make up for needing to travel to get to other areas. It was a wonderful base for us and we will definitely try to go back again. All credit to a wonderful location and to the amazing staff who were always willing to go that extra mile to care for us. Ti ringrazio!

The hotel was very comfortable and was very clean and was very close to the centre and we had no public funding. If you have luck you are free parking under the stable ( we found it). Otherwise, the lady recommends a parking at 4/5 euro per day. The area has many stores and supermarkets right on the stable road. The bar under the palace is convenient to make breakfast. Perfectly I would say. The only things I don't put 5 stars because the room is too cold. The air conditioners to heat the room take a lot to heat the environment and the bathroom is cold because it is not heated, also I had problems with the hot water of the shower after 3 Min I found to do the cold shower . After 15 Min, however, it was divided into the cold of the room the cold of the shower was a huge discomfort, which is why my companion had to do the shower the next day. Finally, cmq is a apartment divided in b&b so not suitable for those who do not tolerate the minimum noise.. for me it was not a problem.
