The appearance of the hotel is pretty, but the room is really simple, breakfast is OK, it is usually buffet, there are fish and some special dishes from Jamaica. Can live four people. But it must be said that the house is too simple, very old, the room I live in is a wooden top, very tall, very unique, there is a mouse in that room, it will run out when the night is quiet, very scary. Sleeping at night gave a piece of white cloth, and it was a bit strange at night. Later, the hotel responded with a mouse. The hotel changed a room. It was a duplex, with four beds, but the beds were very small and were single beds. Others are very general. I haven’t slept well for three days at this hotel. And because it is on the port, the location is very biased, so there is no support around, but the hotel restaurant is really too expensive! We ordered a chicken leg (probably 1/6 of the whole chicken), plus two small bowls of rice, which cost 42 US dollars, nearly 300 yuan.) It took us to spend it, but it felt particularly worthless. However, the scenery of the port is not bad. If you look at it, it is suitable for many people to come. If we come together, we feel the environmental space. We are still too thin.

I visited for 2 weeks and I loved the peace and tranquility of the environs at The R Hotel. A small hotel, but cozy. Breakfast was served every morning and let me tell you, the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and proficient. I will definitely return.

What is most important to me when I go to a hotel, is the experience. Rok Hotel Kingston went above and beyond to make sure that I had the best experience possible. Some of the team that contributed to making my stay most enjoyable, Monife - Front Office Agent, Keenan the Head Chef, who went above and beyond to making sure that my Father and I had the best possible lunch experience. Stacy Ann - Dining Room Server, smiled, served and made sure that we enjoyed our meal, Nickesha - Front Office Manager reached out to make sure that ALL was ok, Shantol was our bartender who surprised us with delicious and flavorful beverages. Rarely do you experience so many employees in one place making sure that you are having the best time, and I highly recommend this hotel for your getaway needs. BRAVO Rok Hilton staff!! Well done.

From the moment of making our reservation, this hotel was very accommodative. Provided extra information on the Jamaica Carnival - thank you Farah! Monique was very professional in chec king us in. The ladies in the Housekeeping Department were very great & attentive to our needs. Paulette went above & beyond to ensure we had all we needed for a great trip! Kudos to all! Keep on striving for excellence!!!

I had such a good time at AC! We went for some drinks—New York Sour and Espresso Martinis—which were so, so delicious and met a gracious server by the name of Shaair Smith. Super personable, gave us a lot of great laughs and extremely funny. Can't wait to visit AC again for more good times.

Our flight was late and we got to the hotel sometime after 9 pm. when we reached the hotel, the hotel staff advised us that they had computer problems and could not check us in. We waited over 1 hour to find out that they had given away our reservation. We tried to get something to eat while the hotel staff tried to find us another room, but the kitchen closed at 10 pm and we were very hungry. They tried to accommodate us and let us order 2 salads to go which took 30-45 mins. When we finally got our salads and we also got notice that they found us a room for the night. When we got to our room, it was very nice. They gave us the executive suite for the night which eased my dissatisfaction in their service for the night. The next day, I asked if we could stay in the Executive suite for the rest of my stay without any additional cost since they could not find us another room as i had originally booked. they agreed and my aunt and i had a great time for 1 full day. On our 3rd day when we returned back to the hotel room after being out the full day, we noticed load machine like sound coming from the room since we were on the 10th floor. Then we notice the sofa seat was wet and water on the floor. Then we noticed water coming from the ceiling running down from the ceiling down the wall and over by the living area and by the bar area. It was crazy. I had to call the front desk and report it. They sent up someone to evaluate and then when they saw it, they called the manager or engineer to take a look. It appears that work was being done on the roof and the water came down into the suite and made a mess of the furniture and floor. The engineer apologized for the inconvenience but and then left. We were left in the room with water all over the floor and unable to use the living room. We ended up having to call the front desk to have then send someone to clean up the water on the floor and on the furniture. We ended up eating in our bedrooms. When we checked out, i mentioned to the hotel staff about the inconvenience we had with the water and the staff was sympathetic but no apologies or offer to give a discount or anything. I decided i would not return to this hotel again. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially with the experience we had.

Price/performance are consistent. Therefore the very good review. Safe, clean, small accommodation with a little renovation potential. 5 minutes walk from Bob Marley Museum. Free parking on the completed land, a nice reception and pre-coming port. Drink refrigerator is closed at night, not accessible. It makes sense to provide drinks and snacks before check-in. Breakfast was not offered in December 2022 (not yet). A residual from Corona times. Since no supermarket or kiosk is located in the footing environment, only the tank remains for the most necessary in the morning, before the journey. Longer stay I would not recommend, in principle not in Kingston. But for the transit and the small Kingston check, which must be already, if you are on the island, fine.
