Ona El Marques is a wonderfully run apar**ent hotel. Reception staff are friendly and efficient. Indeed, all the staff are, from cleaners to restaurant and pool staff. My one bedroom apar**ent was superb with incredible 180° views around the town and bay from the large balcony with sunbeds, table and chairs.. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds comfortable. The roomy apar**ent had recently been refurbished. It was situated on the fourth floor and luckily had a lift. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced with entertainment some nights. I enjoyed my time at the pool which was well kept and a nice temperature. There was a baby pool too. A supermarket was handy across from the back gate and Lidl is nearby. You need to be fit to walk the hills to the marina, beach and Los Gigantes town. There is a nice boardwalk around the coast. Otherwise I highly recommend Ona El Marques.

Stayed here numerous times. Staff excellent. Rooms a bit like a posh Premier Inn. All you need for self catering. Pool fabulous. Always sunbeds and umbrella available . A great place at an unbelievable low price. I'd recommend it to my best friends. Can't say better than that.!!

We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights….we had a 1 bedroom apar**ent (no 36), on 3rd floor overlooking the swimming pool and the sea beyond. We could not fault the cleanliness of the apar**ent on arrival - a washing up pack (detergent, scrubber, tea towels etc) was provided together with an assorted starter of coffee and tea bags. Towels were changed 3 times and bed linen twice during our stay……perfectly acceptable. Having a washing machine, iron and ironing board was great….and they all functioned well!! The balcony was large with 4 chairs, a table and 2 sun loungers plus sun umbrella. The staff were helpful and friendly…..particularly the bar/restaurant staff. We had dinner in the restaurant twice during our stay……good service, nice food and nice measures for our pre dinner aperitif. Also reasonably priced. The only slight issue we had was the complexity of the television —- we just could not get the volume right and gave up on it after a couple of days —— but we didn’t go to Tenerife to watch TV! The location of El Marques was ideal for us…..10 minutes to Los Gigantes village and 15 minutes down the hill to Puerto Santiago. A really nice affordable place to stay — thoroughly recommended.

The Ona El Marques was a nice little hotel located perfectly between Gigantes and Santiago. We found the location to be ideal having rented a car and visiting locations around the island, it was a great base. We upgraded our stay to an apar**ent rather than a studio and it was well equipped with tv, aircon, sea views, wifi and a small kitchen area. The decor was a little tired and could do with an upgrade, compared to other hotels we have stayed in on the island it felt a bit old fashioned. But nonetheless it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We were more than a bit disappointed that during our 7 day stay we were only visited by the cleaning maid once which was our second day. We had to ask reception for extra towels as a result of three days using the same towels! The apar**ent was clean when we moved in but some areas (the balcony) were a bit grubby. Reception staff were friendly. We enjoyed our stay but would probably not return on account of the lack of maid service and slightly old fashion look. We hired a car and found parking to be a bit of an issue, though there is on street parking on the gigantes side of the hotel which was generally more quiet.

The place is well equipped but tiny...the unusual lounge is somewhat pathetic and it is the worst couch I have ever sat on ..come on Ona for an internationL exchange this is sub standard. Otherwise the place is well equipped . The beds are horrendous and need a make over.

We stayed here on a timeshare swap but my review is in relation to the restaurant. We have eaten at several places in Los Gigantes but overall in terms of food quality and value for money this has proved to be one of the best. Unfortunately as it is at the top of the town tourists tend to bypass it and head down to the main restaurant area. DON'T! The food here is excellent and very inexpensive. Whether you eat inside or out the ambiance is very nice. I hope you give it a try!

We’ve been enjoying a January holiday at El Marques in the sunshine for several years and we’re delighted to say that the high standards which first attracted us to this complex have not been compromised which is a huge credit to the manager and her staff. As my wife and I are now retired it is important to us that we are comfortable on holiday and that we can feel totally at ease in safe surroundings which El Marques provides. The apar**ents are spotless as is the pool and bar areas plus every member of staff are so friendly and helpful. As the complex is situated close to several shops, bars and restaurants it is ideal for people including those who don’t feel the need to hire a car. El Marques is perfect for those who enjoy a relaxing holiday and want to chill out although there are tennis courts and a great sports bar close by for the more active.

Property was as expected. Very well equipped with supermarket across the street. Would visit again.
