Ottima posizione e rapporto qualità prezzo buono. Personale gentile e accogliente. Camera pulita e spaziosa. Possibilità di parcheggio nei pressi dell'hotel e, nel caso non si trovasse posto, anche a pagamento. Colazione nella norma. Presente il ristorante. Se si è stanchi è comodo poter cenare in hotel ma è da migliorare l'offerta del ristorante che sembra più orientata nel soddisfare le esigenze di gruppi o comitive piuttosto che di singoli clienti. Comunque struttura consigliatissima.

Absolutely top notch. My husband and I first came to Ragusa 12 years ago. Much has changed but thankfully much has stayed the same in the town. We were happy to discover Itria Palace when we were planning our itinerary. We stayed in a family room that consisted of two rooms, three beds and two showers. The room was accessible by stairs or lift. It was quiet, clean, super comfortable bed and pillows with very cold air conditioning. Breakfast in the morning was delightful featuring plenty of the usual Italian standards but also included local offerings which were delicious. A member of staff was on hand to prepare caffe and cappuccino for guests. We will absolutely return!

L'hotel si trova lungo la strada di collegamento tra Ragusa e Marina di Ragusa da cui dista circa 12 km. Per spostarsi, quindi, bisogna disporre necessariamente di un veicolo. La struttura è molto carina, con una grande piscina, la palestra, ristorante e bar. Dispone di ampi spazi, tra cui anche un anfiteatro per spettacoli ed un ampio parcheggio interno gratuito. Le camere sono spaziose con affaccio sulla piscina (la nostra) ed il letto comodissimo con topper. Tv 42” ed aria condizionata regolabile dagli ospiti. C'è anche un piccolo frigo con due bottigliette di acqua gratuite e, nel bagno, i soliti accessori. Veramente fantastico il buffet per la colazione soprattutto per chi (come noi) gradisce il dolce e la frutta la mattina. Abbiamo trovato, infatti, diverse specialità di dolci con crema ed alla mandorla e frutta di diversi generi. In conclusione, un ottimo soggiorno anche se solo per una notte ma ci sarebbe piaciuto poter rimanere per una settimana. Sconsigliato per chi non ha la macchina e viaggia con i mezzi pubblici.

We have only good words for this accommodation, without any doubt the best of all we have been in Sicilia. Vincenzo wrote to us before our arrival to give us all the instructions, recommending a place to park free, near the accommodation. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The top floor was a very pleasant common space, with exit to a terrace from which you enjoyed an excellent view of Ragusa Ibla. The hotel has a very good location and is very comfortable and very comfortable. About the problem we have read in other comments on the stairs: they are not so many. If there is really a problem with rising a few stairs, you better not visit the city ;)

We recently spent 10 days at Modica Palace Hotel. Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and restaurant staff were wonderful. All were friendly and helpful. The pool area is very nice and peaceful. We booked a superior room which was quiet and comfortable. We'd definitely consider staying here again should we find ourselves in Modica. Notes: The shuttle is no longer available. You definitely need a car or you'll be booking taxis. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant didn't appear to be open for dinner or was only open for groups so we never tried to eat there. Some of the pool furniture was in need of repair or replacement. It is the end of the season.. All in all it was a very good experience.

What can I say about Modica Boutique Hotel? I LOVED IT! LOCATION: GREAT! Easy to find, surrounded by many shops and restaurants. PARKING: Free Parking in a lock-up garage; private and very safe, with lift connected straight to Hotel. ROOM (Superior): Spacious, Modern, Very clean, Very comfy bed, Cozy linen, State of the art Shower, Relaxation at it's best! BREAKFAST: Spoiled for choice, everything fresh and delicious. Buffet Breakfast 'a la grande'! WATER MACHINE ON EACH FLOOR: Empty bottles provided for free cold or room temperature Natural and Sparkling Water HOTEL RESTAURANT: We had one dinner. Limited choice, however the food was cooked to perfect, presented well and we loved it. Very reasonably priced. STAFF: Polite, courteous, professional, and always with a smile. I highly recommend Modica Boutique Hotel, especially for those travelling with their car by ferry to Pozzallo, as it is only 20min drive. You will not regret it. 4 stelle ? no meglio 2 stelle forse anche 1. Purtroppo in un pernotto di 2 notti ho segnalato un problema di pulizia appena entrato in stanza con tanto di foto mostrate alla reception e ricevuto dovute rimostranze e relative scuse con la promessa che nel prossimo turno di pulizie il ciuffo di peli e capelli sarebbe stato rimosso. Nulla di tutto ciò è accaduto, dormo ancora con il batuffolo accanto al letto, messo lì in bella vista. Questo la dice tutto sulla pulizia effettuata... Altro problema segnalato riguarda la scadentissima qualità del materasso del divano letto che ti costringe a dormire sulle molle, la reception ha cercato di effettuare la sostituzione ma alla fine non c'è stata la necessità perché abbiamo inserito noi tra i materassi e le lenzuola numero 3 piumini per riuscire a riposare. È un peccato, perché perdersi in queste condizioni soprattutto dopo una segnalazione chiara non lascia spazio a dubbi. Ho chiesto un cuscino in più e ne trovo uno con federa del cuscino semistrappata che appena preso si è aperta in due... Colazione dolce standard ma buona. Personale gentile.

When we arrived a lady at reception helped us to carry our luggage to our room. We slept very well indeed because the hotel was situated in a quiet street, yet very close to the centre of Ragusa Superiore. It was amazing to walk and cover virtually the entire area to see the charming historic sights including so many churches in both Ragusa Ibla and Ragusa central, and to hear their bells chime regularly, was a beautiful experience. At breakfast, ladies greeted us, and each time we wanted certain edibles, the ladies came to our assistance. De Stefano's Director, was exceptional and made our stay perfect by going the extra mile, offering advice if we needed anything out of the ordinary. What a welcoming professional she is, always homely, smiling and happy. All the staff were terribly friendly and helpful, and so very eager to please and the service was first class. The room was kept in pristine condition and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel's position was fine, close to the many steps down and up to Ibla, and then up to the centre of Ragusa to go shopping or sightseeing there too. Restaurants were plentiful and with a little detective work, we found brilliant eateries off the beaten track and oh my, the variety of so so tasty cannoli became mind boggling. The venues that stood out for us for dinner were La Taverna Del Lupo, authentic and one we kept going back to, Trattoria da Luigi, Trattoria La Bettola and if you do not mind walking off a heavenly meal, then you must dine at Trattoria nto' Cumannanti, what a down to earth fun place with bustling atmosphere to enhance your taste buds. For lunch or a bite to eat, you have to go to Benvenuti al Sud, small family run with fantastic home cooked meals, and for an incredible variety of yummy delights we found ourselves returning often to Caffé Sicilia which had everything, and finally look out for fine bakeries such as the Panificio Carpenzano located in Corso Italia, and others presenting scrumptious and wholesome snacks. We had a wonderful stay at the De Stefano Palace Luxury Hotel. It was a fantastic holiday and it was a real pleasure to stay at the De Stefano. We found The De Stefano Luxury Hotel superb, and Ragusa Superiore and Ragusa Ibla were fine examples to see Sicily's splendid architecture. Well done De Stefano, truly recommended.
