"We checked in on the 23rd and stayed on the 16th floor. First off, the attendant on our floor was incredibly thoughtful. She saw us doing laundry and noticed water on the floor, so she thoughtfully grabbed a mop and cleaned it up for us. She even brought us a drying rack, which we really appreciated. As for our room, the ocean view from the window was absolutely stunning. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the taste was decent."

"The hotel is right next to a night market, which is super convenient for night market enthusiasts, and the environment is also quite nice. We booked a family room for one night and a twin room for one night. The front desk staff, seeing that we were a family of four, upgraded us to a different room for the second night. The room was spacious and clean, and our whole family was very satisfied. The front desk staff, Xiao Ding and Xiao Wang, provided excellent service; kudos to them! 👍👍👍👍"

"As a loyal Ctrip user for over a decade, I've never left a bad review, but this hotel, which focuses on family water activities, has absolutely set a new low for my accommodation experience. I was so frustrated by the service that I'm warning all families with kids to avoid it! 1. Check-in efficiency was unbelievably bad: I didn't realize why there were so many people in the lobby when I arrived for check-in. Upon arrival, I was told the room wasn't ready and I was forced to wait for an hour. There were over ten front desk staff, but only one check-in counter was open. The family ahead of me, checking in for three double rooms, took a full 20 minutes, asking all sorts of questions, and having to ask again because the staff couldn't remember. There was no one to direct or manage the flow, it was utter chaos. 2. Front desk staff shirked responsibility: After waiting in line for 20 minutes, it was finally my turn, only for the front desk to tell me to go to the next counter. But the next counter had told me to queue here! This back-and-forth went on, showing a complete disregard for guests' time. Do I have to make a scene just to get served? 3. The manager was rude and irresponsible: I couldn't take it anymore and asked to speak to the duty manager. When they arrived, there was not a single apology. Instead, they twisted the facts and accused me of stating the wrong room type. Throughout, their attitude was arrogant and their speech rude, showing no sincerity in resolving the issue. Don't we deserve even a free smile? They verbally promised to have the room ready in 15 minutes and send the room card to the waiting area. But after waiting 20 minutes, there was no sign of anything, and the manager had simply disappeared. In the end, I had to go back to the front desk myself to chase them up and finally get my room card. For a room costing over 400 yuan, I didn't have high expectations. This isn't a bad review because I didn't get a room upgrade or a free night. I had no such demands. I just wanted normal service, but I didn't even get basic smiles or politeness. Everyone looked glum and had a frown. Management, please give your staff a raise! They're all going to get depressed working like this! 4. The rooms have absolutely no soundproofing. Even though there's carpet in the hallway, you can clearly hear children running and yelling, and normal conversations. It's as loud as if they were talking inside the room! 5. The renovation smell is very strong; it's nose-stinging as soon as you step out of the elevator. However, it also means the facilities are relatively new because of the recent renovation. 6. When I called for bottled water, I was told only four bottles are free per day. Even a hundred-yuan motel in a small town lets you drink water freely. Doesn't a family-friendly hotel understand the water needs of families with children? The staff are very unskilled, it feels like they had no pre-job training, constantly asking each other and discussing everything. The management has no service awareness whatsoever; you pay good money to suffer. No matter how good the advertised water facilities are, the supporting service has completely collapsed, and the staff lack basic professionalism. I absolutely do not recommend this place for families with kids. On the positive side, the hygiene was decent, with a few neglected corners, like a layer of dust on the clothes rail. The breakfast variety was quite rich, but they had a coffee machine that wasn't plugged in. If it's broken, why not just remove it? The only staff member who showed a smile was the one in the breakfast area responsible for scanning cards."

"The hotel facilities are great, and the service is warm and friendly. Parking is convenient, and the hotel's location is excellent. You can easily walk across the road to the beach and Oyster Park. The room's private balcony is also a nice touch and quite comfortable."

"The room was super clean. Located in the MixC shopping district, next to Wanpingkou Scenic Area, it's only 800 meters from the scenic area, a two-minute drive – very convenient. There's parking downstairs. The room was very well-equipped, even including tea. Great! I'll definitely come back again next time."

You have to hold on to the wall when you get out after taking a shower, otherwise 99% of them will slip. The door lock is also broken. "The hotel is not far from the beach, but getting to the lighthouse and the third bathing beach requires a car or taxi. The rooms are large, but the cleanliness isn't great; for example, the tables need a good wipe. The cleanliness of the public areas is quite poor. With so many guests, the lobby is littered with trash, the carpet is dirty and lint-filled, and it's not even vacuumed. The restaurant stools are incredibly dirty. Other than these issues, the hotel is still worth staying at."

"Pretty good! The hotel is very clean and tidy. If you're driving, you can park on the B1 level, and the hotel elevator goes directly there, which is very convenient. It's the usual Atour standard."

"Rizhao Grand Hotel has a rather imposing name. As a newly opened hotel, its facilities are quite modern, with electric curtains, smart toilets, TVs with screen mirroring capabilities, and food delivery robots being standard features. A pleasant surprise about the room I booked was its huge bay window, which filled the room with sunlight. It was quite nice for two people to sit there. The gym is open 24 hours and has comprehensive, new, and functional facilities. The breakfast was decent; I got fresh leafy greens, and my child got hot, freshly cooked noodles, which was fine. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, overlooking a small garden."
