We booked the room with the private pool and it was lovely. The resort overall is beautiful however could do with minor refurbishment as some things are a little old and need attention, the rooms however were clean and bed was large and comfy. The star of this resort is definitely the staff. Upon arrival they were helpful, friendly and went above and beyond. Both Tankie and David contributed immensely to the wonderful experience we had at this lodge. They truly are an asset.

From the check in to the day we left, it was one thing after the other. 1. The team that was checking us in was not consistent, the one half was not willing to go the extra mile to solve our request (being moved from a 2 single bed, room to a double bed, room) and the other half made promises that they could not keep (said that we would be moved the following day, without checking for availability first). 2. My colleague asked for the iron numerous times over the period of our stay, and it NEVER came, she had to go get it herself. 3. We ordered room service, and the food came after an hour plus, AFTER i made an enquiry about my order, which was when they were only assembling it. I do get that it might take time however communication on ETA is important. 4. When the food eventually came, there was no cutlery and no condiments. I could write more, but you get the picture.
