The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The hotel is a very friendly staff, the attractive neighborhood, a shopping centre 7 minutes walk and a station lar E to reach the capital in 15 minutes really not far from the hotel 7 to 8 minutes walk. We will return to the friendly and friendly breakfast.

This hotel could be a little jewel but is totally neglected. Every-where is an atmosphere of indifference and lack of care. It is so well situated and calm, the view on the golf court is very nice. The building is attractive , but how could you let it go like that. The mirrors and the carpet in the room are not clean . The breakfast is extremely poor . No service. It asks probably a higher price to get more quality. Why not.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! Stay from December 23 to 27 - apartment 522 & 501 Before my arrival, I had asked to have a rental with a bathtub, request confirmed because all T2 are equipped with a bathtub I was told When taking of my rental, I had a shower! (apartment 522) After expressing my dissatisfaction on Saturday morning and when I had been told at reception that there was no longer an apartment with a bathtub, a person from the reception came to see me and coincidentally , find me an apartment with a bathtub Transfer of business and taking of the new rental (apartment 501), when I want to take a bath, a great moment of solitude! No cork to be able to take it Back to reception to ask for one...and there! another moment of solitude... after promising to bring me one quickly, 1 hour later I was still waiting for this famous cork... After another visit to reception, I was told that it is not possible to have one because the bathtubs were delivered without! In the end, to get myself a bath, I had to plug the tub with a plastic ac to be able to enjoy it!! Unheard of for me! Am I talking about the kids running down the halls screaming like hysterics? The common areas are dirty, the balconies are dirty, the apartments have no curtains, etc... In short! If you want to lose money, this is the place to go! Otherwise stay away from this place...

This was our third stay at this hotel over a period of several years and I posted a very positive review in 2014. Oh, how things have changed here! I begin with the most serious of the offenses and indignities we suffered during our 5-night stay. I was entrapped in the hotel's elevator for a period of 10-15 minutes before the staff registered any response to the emergency alarm bell or my pounding on the elevator door. When a maintenance employee finally arrived, he said that the alarm bell notified the off-premises elevator service company rather than the hotel itself. I knew this was not accurate as I could clearly hear the alarm when I repeatedly pressed it. When I was finally liberated from the elevator and spoke with the on-duty manager, he apologized and said he had been in the ”back office” and had not heard the alarm. The general manager of the hotel also stated that she regretted the ”inconvenience.” I think this event qualified substantially above the level of ”inconvenience” and the manager's proffer of a fractional portion of the substantial Marriott points I had used for my stay was wholly inadequate for the life-threatening emergency that could well have been the case. In addition to this incident, we experienced an appalling indifference and lack of basic service from the staff of the hotel, including (1) absence of a bellman to assist with our bags upon arrival at the hotel by taxi ,(2) failure to deliver an additional luggage rack to the room following request of the bellman, (3) failure of housekeeping staff to make up the room for a period of two hours and after three requests when we inadvertently left the French-language ”do not disturb” sign on our door, (4) failure to respond to three or more requests for towels that had not been left by the housekeeper, and (5) recommendation by the newest and least-experienced junior concierge of an Asian restaurant that displayed a ”closed” sign when we arrived and where no employees spoke English or could provide an English-language menu. (In fact, with regard to the restaurant, the chief concierge told us the next day that she had ”never heard of it.”) We chose this hotel because we had previously had positive experiences, notwithstanding the fact that the rooms are extremely small (even with our upgrade from a ”cubby hole” to a ”shoebox-sized” room). The hotel's common area is beautifully decorated and the rooms are well-appointed despite their size. The problem with this hotel boils down to indifferent management and that is really a shame. It could be so much more!

The room is small, typical commercial hotel, no slippers, no toiletries. Breakfast is a typical white meal, there are fewer types, more general, no hot meals

I had a regrettable room, with a single bed, a box and a table, a bathroom, which was inviable and untreated as well as the rest, dirty wall paper that gives a sense of trouble and wires to view everywhere. The WLAN is not available, which works through a Qr Code that has expired or does not exist, and my room had only one window and was on a lightless indoor and helped to make a sense of claustrophobia. Heating lighted and unregulable in mid April made it all more difficult, forced me to light a dust-flashing fan. Indecent price quality ratio, as well as staff care and misleading images that are used in Paris to attract customers.

At the end of a long road trip in Europe, the Jardins de Montmartre was the perfect hotel for two brothers. The unique room provided each of us with our own bathroom, our individual very large twin bed, separate televisions, and a door separating our two half-rooms. A little privacy after a lot of time living closely!.. The room also had a coffee/tea maker and a safe. Moving-around space was a bit limited but not a big issue. The bathrooms both had very large showers with ample hot water from the rain-forest fitting. Excellent views of the street from one bedroom and from one shower!.  The front desk was manned 24/7 and can provide wake up calls. The beds were very comfortable with like-new linens. The hotel is located near two Metro lines and near many cafes and restaurants. Our very special room was replicated on at least two other floors. I wholeheartedly recomend the hotel to any set of travellers who want a great place to share but with some individual services. 

Cost-effective, the surrounding residential areas are also very quiet, will stay again

I don't expect luxury from a hostel, but I do expect cleanliness. On the surface the hostel appears clean. Most importantly, the bed sheets and mattress are clean. However, look beyond that and you'll see it's filthy and obviously never given a deep clean. Down the side of the lower bunk there is what must be months and months of rotten food, old socks, dirt and dust that has been allowed to collect. No wonder the room smells so musty and stuffy. My bunk had blood streaks from a squashed bug (and live mosquitoes flying about), as well as sticky finger prints all over the bed panels and window. Furthermore, the noise level is crazy. I understand on a Friday people want to party so the bar was blasting out music and the 1st floor rooms are not sound proof - I actually didn't mind that. What annoyed me was the fact that they were blasting music through the speakers in the 1st floor toilet/shower rooms. WHY?! This made the room and hallways even noisier. Its only saving grace is the location (and free wi-fi). It can feel a bit dodgy walking through there alone as a single woman at night, but so can any big city... The hostel is close to some great bars, restaurants, and tourist attractions (Père Lachaise Cemetery, for example). I'd recommend hiring a bike to get around - there's quite a few Vélib' bike stations a short walk away.
