"This was a truly disappointing stay. This is the first time I've written a review like this! I had hoped for a comfortable and enjoyable stay at your hotel, but the experience was truly disappointing. I still hope to objectively provide feedback to help the hotel improve and provide a reference for other travelers. First, the cleanliness was truly worrying. Mold was visible on the walls and ceiling of the room, which not only affected the aesthetics but also raised concerns about the cleanliness of the room. The children's mat was visibly stained, clearly lacking regular cleaning and maintenance, making it particularly inconvenient for families with children. Second, the bedroom was permeated with a persistent odor from the bathroom drain, which persisted even with windows open for ventilation, severely impacting the comfort level. For a hotel that is supposed to provide a warm and welcoming environment, such basic issues are simply unacceptable. I understand the challenges of operating a hotel, but quality is determined by details, and hygiene and air quality are fundamental. I sincerely hope management will address these issues and address them. This review is not meant to be critical, but rather to help other travelers maintain reasonable expectations. I also hope the hotel will learn from this and improve its service."

"Overall, we were quite satisfied with the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there's a private parking lot right at the entrance. They also offer a free shuttle service to their sister property for hot spring access. On the left side of the ground floor lobby, there are sports and fitness facilities such as a ping-pong table, billiard table, and treadmill. To the right, there's a self-service laundry room equipped with four washing machines and one dryer. Breakfast was also quite good. Having been in Yunnan, I've had a bowl of Ersi almost every morning. It's interesting how the Ersi varies from place to place, so it's good to try them all. However, all the minor issues were found in the bathroom: there was a noticeable sewage smell, and the bathroom door lock was a bit loose – we had to really yank it to make sure it latched properly. The sink faucet should also probably be replaced; you absolutely cannot turn it on too high. I didn't realize this at first, and when I casually lifted the handle, water splashed all over me."

From the warm welcome by the lovely staff at the front desk to the meticulous attention to detail from the housekeeping team, they truly pamper their guests. I was running low on my own face wipes, and to my surprise, a new pack was left discreetly outside my door to avoid disturbing me. Such incredible thoughtfulness! I'd forgotten my toothbrush, but the hotel's wasn't just any old brush – it was surprisingly high quality, the same model as a famous Japanese brand! The owner certainly spares no expense! Even the slippers weren't the usual flimsy kind. All the in-room amenities were far superior to what you'd expect for the price point. The local water provided was not only visually appealing but also had a delightful, sweet aftertaste. And what a bonus to come back tired from exploring and enjoy a delicious complimentary coffee! It truly felt like coming home. When you're away from home, comfort is paramount. I initially thought the single room might be small, but it was surprisingly spacious – enough to even do yoga in! The next day, wanting to enjoy a bath, I upgraded to a suite. To my absolute delight, it came with fresh fruit and champagne – talk about a luxurious touch! What a wonderful surprise! The people here are incredibly warm and genuine. I was so lucky to have chosen this hotel, as it practically saved me the cost of a guide! The staff generously shared all the best local tips on where to eat, drink, and have fun. After a delicious late-night snack, walking back to the hotel in the pleasant evening air, I felt a deep sense of pride as a Chinese citizen, realizing how safe and secure our border regions are. Even now, writing this review from Kunming, I'm already eagerly anticipating my next trip to Ruili – to savor more of that amazing barbecue, hotpot, and fresh fruit, and of course, to stay at this wonderful hotel again! 🌹🌷🌺"

"The parent-child suite is large and has two rooms. Can accommodate 4 people. The hotel is located on the edge of the city and the surrounding area is not lively. It is close to the sister's port and one country and two villages. The price is a bit high during the Spring Festival, and the price/performance ratio should be good."
