We took a break in Deidesheim over the weekend. The hotel is located on the edge of Deidesheim, directly in the wine mountains. We were very friendly at the reception. Our room was very clean and spacious. The bed (double bed Queensize) was very comfortable, so we have been very well sleeping. The bathroom with shower and toilet was also very clean. The breakfast buffet does not leave any wishes open, the selection is very good. There was a large selection of fresh breads just in the fresh breads. There is also a beautiful wellness area with sauna. The hotel is especially suited for walking and biking in the beautiful chair. The numerous wine goods are also worth a visit (wein sample and purchase). We're happy to come back. A highlight of the hotel is an old music box that works and provides beautiful songs. We'll come back.

The staff are all very nice. The room is spacious and you don't feel closed. Overall our stay was pleasant. We could also spontaneously book the unreserved breakfast for several days. However, the cleanliness was not fully respected in our case. We ordered the daily cleaning service, which is a great offer, as it is not necessary for such a short stay. The room was always made on the weekend, however, the room was not quite clean at our arrival. The bathing turk button was full of dust, the set glasses for the bottle of water included in the price had still a lipstick beam from the pre-visitor and in the washing basin still a swallowed hair with visible skin fats. We simply didn't use the glasses and cleaned the washing basin itself. The room and the bath were otherwise in a proper condition. For its purposes, you could be satisfied overall with the price-performance ratio. It is also often questioned whether everything is in order and if there are problems, it can be criticised directly.

Das 2020 eröffnete Hotel in guter Lage ist stylisch eingerichtet, jedoch wenig gepflegt. An der Eingangstür hängt ein Papierzettel ”defekt”. Den Zugang über den Nachtzugang muss man selbst finden. Der Mitarbeiter am Check-in war freundlich. Da vermutlich die Pappkärtchen für die Zimmerkarten aus waren, gab's ‘nen Klebezettel mit der Zimmernummer. Das Zimmer war ok, von Kaffee- und Teezubereitung auf dem Zimmer keine Spur. Dafür ein laminierter Zettel mit dem Hinweis, dass die Zimmerreinigung nur alle zwei Tage erfolgt und der Bettwäsche- und Handtuchwechsel nur alle 4 (!) Tage erfolgt ... aus Gründen der Nachhaltigkeit. Bettwäsche ok, aber Handtücher????? TIPP: Aus Gründen der Nachhaltigkeit kann gern auf den leeren, aber angestellten Kühlschrank verzichtet werden. Die Gästeinformation war auf einem Tablet hinterlegt, dies ist ok und entspricht der Zeit. Ebenso die Chatmöglichkeit mit der Rezeption. Die Frage nach dem Kaffee- oder Teezubereitung wurde mit dem Hinweis beantwortet: Die Frage wird an die Rezeption weitergegeben. Die KI war überfordert. Auf die Antwort warteten wir bis zu unserer Abreise. Am nächsten Tag fragten wir an der Rezeption bzgl. Kaffee & Tee und Zimmerreinigung. Es wurde uns zugesichert, dass die Reinigung von nun an auch täglich erfolgen kann und die Gerätschaften für Kaffee und Tee auf das Zimmer kommen. Dies funktionierte genau EIN-mal. Am nächsten Tag gab es keine frischen Handtücher, keine Zimmereinigung, damit blieben auch die schmutzigen Kaffeetassen stehen und Kaffee und Tee war nicht wieder aufgefüllt. Auf erneuter Nachfrage an der Rezeption (ein Mitarbeiter mit heraushängendem Hemd, nicht zugeknöpft, sichtbaren Unterhemd, nicht wirklich ein Aushängeschild) wurde uns mitgeteilt, Kaffee und Tee gibt's nur einmal, frische Handtücher kann er aufs Zimmer bringen. Großzügerweise wurden noch zwei Kaffeekapseln dazu gegeben. Sollen wir uns Tee und Kaffee selbst mitbringen??? Dann bitte vorher den Typ der benötigten Kaffeekapseln mitteilen …, nein, die was Ironie. Am letzten Abend wollten wir noch das inkludierte Begrüßungsgetränk zu uns nehmen. 21.45 Uhr standen wir jedoch vor verschlossenen Türen. Lt. Gästeinfo sollte Rezeption und Bar bis 22:30 Uhr besetzt sein. Zusammenfassend kann man sagen: Hätte ich eine den Service einer Pension haben wollen, hätte ich eine gebucht (... und der ist oft besser und liebevoller als im Amedia Plaza Speyer) oder eben gleich ne Ferienwohnung.

Vorweg: Die bisherigen negativen Ausführungen sind überholt. Das Hotel hat an sich gearbeitet. Das fängt in der nett gestalteten Lobby und im freundlichen Empfang an. Es wurde ausführlich über alles wissenswerte informiert. Hunde sind erlaubt! Da es in der Nähe keine Parkplätze gibt, wird angeboten für 13 Euro in der Tiefgarage zu parken. Das öffentliche Parkhaus berechnet 15 Euro. Die Lage ist sehr günstig. Vom Bahnhof sind es wenige Meter. Die Innenstadt ist gleich daneben. Das Hotel wurde gründlich renoviert, trotzdem sieht man dem Hotel den 70er-Flair an. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Zum Empfang stand eine Flasche Wasser bereit. Schokolädchen wurden vermisst. Die Minibar war leer. Die Temperatur konnte nur durch Öffnen des Fensters gesteuert werden; es war eindeutig zu warm! Das Zimmer ging zur Straße raus. Die Fenster sind aber schallisoliert. Das Bad ist geräumig. Allerdings irritierte die Bad/Dusch-Kombi. Sehr gut bewerte ich den Roomservice, der nur auf Bestellung kommt. Ich hasse es, wenn fremde Menschen mit meinen Sachen umgehen. Das Schwimmbad ist gut zu erreichen, sauber und passend temperiert. Das Frühstück hat eine reiche Auswahl mit laktose- und glutenfreien Speisen. Die Brötchen sind allerdings Aufbackware. Der Service ist sehr gut. Das Personal immer ansprechbar. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Es gab ein 3-Gänge-Menü. Suppe ok, Hauptgang mittelmäßig. Die Desserts gingen gar nicht. Die Vanillesoße schmeckte intensiv nach Zitrone. Die Panacotta hatte eine merkwürdige Konsistenz. Insgesamt nicht empfehlenswert. The staff is very friendly and welcome to their guests at the reception. The friendly and family atmosphere is the first place as a privately managed hotel. We were received by Isabelle (the daughter of the house) and Melissa, who were really at the same time everywhere and read the wishes from the eyes to the guests (despite protective masks!). Also in “Stefans Restaurant” Isabelle sees everything with only one view. The idyllical city Limburgerhof is still a secret tip, because the starting point is just ideal. Excursions for example to Heidelberg, Speyer, Newtown on the wine road, or just a short time to Elsass are just a few good goals. My wife and I were in Elsass one day, which was really a great experience. The Holidaypark Haßloch is only 17 km from the hotel. 130 modern, friendly and comfortable rooms and Superior rooms, as well as suites, provide you a second home. A sauna, a fitness room, a hotel bar, a terrace and eight conference and seminar rooms are rounded out the equipment. The four-star hotel is a demanding house with a top kitchen and a balanced environment for celebrations, business and individual travels, as well as meetings. We had dinner in ”Stefans Restaurant” on two evenings, which was very good. The breakfast buffet was also absolute tip. All the heart wants. All rooms are non-smoking rooms and very clean, with shower, toilet, telephone, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi and a small refrigerator that you can switch on. We were here in mid-September for three days, but we are very sure that we will be back in the “Residenzhotel Limburgerhof” by spring 2022 at the latest. Parking is sufficiently available just in front of the hotel.
