"Good location near the station and free parking as long as you can secure a spot, also has check-out extension service for 1000yen per hour. But the wifi from my room was very poor even though there were two wifis per floor, if you heavily rely on wifi then you might need to tell them to get you a room with strong connection."

"I visited Saga twice and stayed at New Otani both times. It is a bit of a distance from Saga Station, but since it is close to city tourist attractions such as Saga 360, Saga Castle Ruins, and the Art Museum, it might feel a bit tight to catch the airport bus for your return flight, depending on personal preference. However, the river view in front of the hotel is overwhelmingly beautiful, and you can also see the sunrise. While the nearest convenience store is about 5 to 7 minutes away, there are water dispensers, an ice room, vending machines for convenience foods, and microwaves in the building hallway (offering rice balls, beef rice bowls, side dishes, etc.). The guest rooms are provided with bathtubs and bath salts. The shower pressure is adjustable. The afternoon tea set and seasonal snack sets at the 1st-floor café look good in terms of composition and price."

"The hotel's exterior design is very modern! However, the room amenities weren't properly arranged. Although each room was thoughtfully equipped with a dehumidifier, it suddenly stopped working around 3 or 4 AM. We later discovered that excess water hadn't been emptied from the dehumidifier, causing it to sound an alarm in the early morning and wake my 8-month-old baby. It was terrible!"
Comfort Hotel Saga ★★★
"I stayed at this hotel for a few days during my trip, and I highly recommend it! The location is fantastic. One exit from the JR station leads directly to the Combox shopping mall (where the supermarket on the first floor offers 50% off at 7 PM and 20% off at 6 PM), and also to what seems to be the most bustling street in the area – probably a main thoroughfare. At night, the trees lining the street outside are beautifully decorated with light strips. The JR station itself has plenty of great food options, so even if you're a bit late for lunch, there's no need to worry. On the other side, just a 2-minute walk away at the intersection, is the Comfort Hotel. Although it's not large, and the rooms are small and compact in a Japanese style, they are very clean. The rooms seem to have central heating; it felt warm as soon as I entered, as shown in picture three. Both check-in and check-out are self-service at machines by the entrance, which can be switched to Simplified Chinese, making the process smooth and seamless. If I had any issues during my stay, the hotel staff were patient listeners and actively helpful. The breakfast was also excellent; while not a huge variety, the taste was great, as seen in picture two."

"The hotel room was clean, but a bit dark, and the fan wasn't strong enough. The large public bath was quite comfortable, and the meals were plentiful and delicious. The hotel has a bit of a nostalgic charm. In the summer, there's a waterslide, which isn't available in winter. It's suitable for both adults and children, definitely recommended."

"If you want to experience a traditional Japanese inn, I highly recommend this! Their “one-stop-two” food is quality. Don't expect too much otherwise: the room is clean overall, but if you have nasal allergies I highly don't recommend it! The dust in the air was quite sharp and I kept sneezing once inside. Hand sanitizer is not provided in the washrooms throughout the inn. In fact, hand sanitizer is a basic hygiene need whether after going to the restroom or before eating. I hope the person in charge can seriously improve it. In addition, the hostel does not have an elevator, if you are a family and have large luggage, be mentally prepared to move your own luggage up the stairs."

"A three-story hotel with only stairs. Breakfast is included, and you can also change to rice balls (meal in your room). Breakfast was delicious. It's not a card key, it's a regular apartment key. So you have to lock the door yourself when you enter the room. The area around the hotel was pitch black and there was only a convenience store. Don't expect too many amenities. Women need full equipment. Smoking is allowed, so there is a distinct cigarette smell. It's a very inconvenient place if you don't have a car."

Although you can hear people talking next door, it does not prevent you from sleeping soundly. Although the stairs upstairs (2nd floor) are a bit steep, you only go up and down once a day. Check in according to the information provided by the email. If you are not an experienced backpacker or have poor work ability, you should contact the administrator in advance. The location is also very good, about 1.4 kilometers from the station, and instant coffee is provided. The only drawback is that there is no refrigerator. If you go to Saga, you will stay at this hotel again."
