Another thing to raise, is the breakfast, amazing options per 15 € if you choose to buy at check in or before the breakfast day. Great selection of juice, cheese, breads, eggs and everything is delicious! Really good experience. There is a bar available for good drinks and dinner/snacks options!

The road around the hotel is being repaired. The road is dirty and it is inconvenient to pull in and out with luggage. In the evening, there are many black people standing around. It feels unsafe. The hotel service is good. Breakfast is ok. You can fry eggs. The hotel itself is quite clean, very close to the train station, and a four or five minute walk.

I will definitely consider booking this same hotel again. The location was very convenient as it’s just a short walk away from Gare du Midi/Brussels Zuid station.

All staff were excellent and helpful. Convenient location right next to Gare du Midi, about 20 minutes' walk to Grand Place (ie tourist centre). Comfortable very clean room. Good breakfast. Useful later checkout time of Midday. Good wifi. The rooms are on the small side and there is a previously mentioned design fault in the bathroom which means the shower tray is too small with limited screen so it is easy to flood the floor if not careful (this would have been easy to anticipate and is frankly ridiculous) . Several power points in room but no kettle and there was no free tea/coffee as mentioned in previous reviews except at breakfast (so bring your own kettle and cups etc if you enjoy hot beverages in the room). The breakfast area is also very cramped and gets awkward getting food when there are more than a few people there. I can't help but feel a bit of attention at the design stage would have remedied a lot of these problems. The area the hotel is located in may be a little seedy for some - similar to areas near big stations in many large European cities . But it is only 3 minutes walk from Eurostar arrival.

Stayed here two nights in mid-January 2023. Hotel is located in a gritty area, with much construction, but just a five minute walk to the main train station, with many transit connections. It's about a 10 - 20 minute walk to various tourist sites in the city. There are convenience stores and dining options nearby. Staff was OK but not overly friendly. Single room was small, but clean and the price was fair. There was a heating/AC unit on the wall but one button was missing and it didn't appear to be working. Temp was OK. There was a small desk and chair. Shower and sink were in the room and toilet in a small closet. The window opened into a narrow ventilation shaft so it was rather dark. Wifi, lights and TV worked fine. I didn't pay for the breakfast. It wasn't great, but it did the trick.

Just back from a 4 night Christmas Markets family break in Brussels, the hotel was great. I was worried given the reviews but needn't have been. The duplex apartment was prefect for our family needs, it gave the kids space and the kitchenette was unbelievably well equipped. The rooms.could get a little warm (not always a bad thing), and the windows opened without any safety catches... made.me anxiousness the 5th floor, but the kids knew to stay away. The rooms were clean and tidy,.come.wirh all you need for a short stay. Location is perfect for exploring Brussels with the Louise Metro stop just steps away. There is a grocery shop along the side of the hotel, (wish we had realised this as we used the much more expensive metro stop store) Some say they felt nervous in the area, but we were fine and no issues. Some lovely restaurants close by and cab very much recommend La Vigne for amazing food. The reception staff were always very friendly and helpful when needed. Cannot fault for a budget mini break and would definitely recommend and stay again.

It is big with enough facilities for you to cook. 4) The house is clean. 5) The owner allow us to store our luggage in kitchen after we come back overnight from other city. -: 1) We live in 3rd floor of the house without lift. We need to take the heavy luggages to the room by the narrow stairs. Although we can put in the kitchen, it is not convenient. 2) The room is little bit stuffy but the fan is too noisy. Back in Brussels for the weekend, my partner comes regularly for work so we opted for this hotel as much cheaper than options in the tourist areas. Was pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel was, clean and modern in the lobby with a bar (that was always deserted). We'd booked a King Deluxe Room and the friendly guy kept referring to it as a 'suite' - whether we'd been moved up a level I don't know, but the room was huge - and recently refurbished. Our room was located in the further section of the hotel, down a corridor. The hotel was quiet and we slept well, the room had a full kitchen, even with a dishwasher. The only negatives were not enough plug sockets and the toilet was by the door, the rest of the bathroom was around the other side, my partner who works and stays in Belgium regularly advised this is becoming more of the norm but was the first time I had experienced it, and a bit annoying in the night when you're full of belgian beer... Hotel isn't located in the most picturesque area but never felt unsafe, you experience more unsavoury characters around Brussels Midi Station. Very close to the Saint Gilles Square where the eateries and bars were bustling, this is more of a local area but everyone is welcome, and food and drinks are half the price of the area around Grand Place. Close to a metro station to visit the rest of the city, and you can walk to Midi station in around 10-15 minutes (note that this walk towards the hotel is slightly uphill)!

I stayed recently with my family and feel the hotel suited our needs. The room was one of the largest ones I have had in a hotel so there was plenty of room for us all. Cleanliness wise it was good. We also had someone come up on another day to check everything was okay we reported a couple of broken light bulbs which again were changed very quickly. The staff were generally quite friendly apart from the reception staff who didn't really acknowledge you but the rest of them were fine. The breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. The hotel is in a bit of a run down area near the main train station but we never had any issues. I would suggest if you don't feel comfortable staying near a busy train station then you should maybe look elsewhere as the hotel can't be held responsible for the area they are in. Its a 20 min walk to the centre of Brussels so again something to be aware off. If I was returning to Brussels I would probably stay somewhere a bit closer to the centre but we did enjoy our stay here.

Really great stay at this very pleasant and nicely located hotel. We used this as our base having travelled across on Eurostar. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the station. Like all European main stations it’s a bit seedy around the adjacent area but we felt safe. The MIDI station also has an amazing array of shops to hand if you just want a quick snack or get breakfast while on the move. Hotel was clean and the air con was amazing given this was two of those baking 38degree days! Only minor criticisms were the towels were very small for a modern hotel, the maid service is often late (although we were on top floor so perhaps last!) and breakfast very expensive (but see earlier comment) - none of which affected my scoring.

Back in Brussels for the weekend, my partner comes regularly for work so we opted for this hotel as much cheaper than options in the tourist areas. Was pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel was, clean and modern in the lobby with a bar (that was always deserted). We'd booked a King Deluxe Room and the friendly guy kept referring to it as a 'suite' - whether we'd been moved up a level I don't know, but the room was huge - and recently refurbished. Our room was located in the further section of the hotel, down a corridor. The hotel was quiet and we slept well, the room had a full kitchen, even with a dishwasher. The only negatives were not enough plug sockets and the toilet was by the door, the rest of the bathroom was around the other side, my partner who works and stays in Belgium regularly advised this is becoming more of the norm but was the first time I had experienced it, and a bit annoying in the night when you're full of belgian beer... Hotel isn't located in the most picturesque area but never felt unsafe, you experience more unsavoury characters around Brussels Midi Station. Very close to the Saint Gilles Square where the eateries and bars were bustling, this is more of a local area but everyone is welcome, and food and drinks are half the price of the area around Grand Place. Close to a metro station to visit the rest of the city, and you can walk to Midi station in around 10-15 minutes (note that this walk towards the hotel is slightly uphill)!

It is big with enough facilities for you to cook. 4) The house is clean. 5) The owner allow us to store our luggage in kitchen after we come back overnight from other city. -: 1) We live in 3rd floor of the house without lift. We need to take the heavy luggages to the room by the narrow stairs. Although we can put in the kitchen, it is not convenient. 2) The room is little bit stuffy but the fan is too noisy. It is not enough to open the window .

The breakfast room was ill equipped with no teaspoons, saucers for cups, basic coffee. Rather overpricef as it is rather scruffy.

Booked this last minute and pleasantly surprised with how nice this hotel was. Staff are friendly and my room was immaculate! Looked like it had just been refurbished. I will definitely consider booking this same hotel again. The location was very convenient as it’s just a short walk away from Gare du Midi/Brussels Zuid station.

The hotel is very well located, with public parking available with direct access to the hotel for 20 € per 24 hours. The room is great, the bed is amazing! Another thing to raise, is the breakfast, amazing options per 15 € if you choose to buy at check in or before the breakfast day. Great selection of juice, cheese, breads, eggs and everything is delicious! Really good experience. There is a bar available for good drinks and dinner/snacks options!

All staff were excellent and helpful. Convenient location right next to Gare du Midi, about 20 minutes' walk to Grand Place (ie tourist centre). Comfortable very clean room. Good breakfast. Useful later checkout time of Midday. Good wifi. The rooms are on the small side and there is a previously mentioned design fault in the bathroom which means the shower tray is too small with limited screen so it is easy to flood the floor if not careful (this would have been easy to anticipate and is frankly ridiculous) . Several power points in room but no kettle and there was no free tea/coffee as mentioned in previous reviews except at breakfast (so bring your own kettle and cups etc if you enjoy hot beverages in the room). The breakfast area is also very cramped and gets awkward getting food when there are more than a few people there. I can't help but feel a bit of attention at the design stage would have remedied a lot of these problems. The area the hotel is located in may be a little seedy for some - similar to areas near big stations in many large European cities . But it is only 3 minutes walk from Eurostar arrival.

Stayed here two nights in mid-January 2023. Hotel is located in a gritty area, with much construction, but just a five minute walk to the main train station, with many transit connections. It's about a 10 - 20 minute walk to various tourist sites in the city. There are convenience stores and dining options nearby. Staff was OK but not overly friendly. Single room was small, but clean and the price was fair. There was a heating/AC unit on the wall but one button was missing and it didn't appear to be working. Temp was OK. There was a small desk and chair. Shower and sink were in the room and toilet in a small closet. The window opened into a narrow ventilation shaft so it was rather dark. Wifi, lights and TV worked fine. I didn't pay for the breakfast. It wasn't great, but it did the trick.
