Maria's Place - Adults Only

Such a warm welcome from Anna from the moment we arrived. She gave us lots of really useful information on places to go, see and how to get around the island. The breakfast is very good, fresh and a nice selection of hot and cold food. The apartment was lovely, well equipped and kept incredibly clean throughout our stay. The pool area is nice and peaceful with plenty of sun beds. The pool is not heated, but very refreshing and welcome after being in the hot sun. The location of Maria’s Place is just perfect, a few minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of Oia and very close to some fabulous restaurants. We visited Meze Meze on two occasions, the food, atmosphere and service was exceptional and definitely worth a visit. Anna and Kostas are a great team and run a fabulous hotel. Would highly recommend staying here. We hope to be back again one day soon. Faye & John U.K.

Stayed at the end of June 2022. We had a large room fully equipped with all the kitchen items you would need - microwave/coffee machine/utensils/crockery/wine glasses + refrigerator. Comfortable bed. Separate upstairs living room - simply never used. Large modern shower. Everything kept spotless on a daily basis with fresh towels etc. We also had a private whirlpool on our balcony although temperature seemed to be driven by the sun. Room 13 - but not unlucky! Views over the lovely swimming pool and to the Adriatic coastline. Walking to the main part of Oia is around 15 minutes. Good local restaurants are nearby. Bus stop very close. Totally peaceful without the bustle of the town centre which is full of high end boutiques and more expensive restaurants. Astounding views and sunsets. Anna and Kostas are amazing hosts - extremely helpful for organising trips out - recommend the boat trip in the caldera, but unless you are a real history buff do not be tempted by the ruins at Akrotiri - boring. Santos winery is excellent with super views. Santorini is NOT suitable for disabled people. There are far too many steps.

This place is the perfect place for a rest and recuperation. Anna is so lovely, looks after everyone giving tips and guidance on trips, travel and the area. The rooms are immaculately clean and well equipped. Cleaned every day by Anna's lovely team. Anna has a traditional Greek breakfast ready every morning which is delicious. The location is perfect on outskirts of Oia away from the hustle and bustle of made Oia and crazy tourists who flock here to get the sunset snap. At Maria's you can get it hassle free every night. This really is a hidden gem ...The complex has 2 seperate accommodation areas.. we stayed the Unique Galini Oia , Adults only which has well layed out accommodation with a superb comfortable double bed and fridge. Maria's Place is linked and has larger apartments type layout. Anna our host was host so kind, friendly, warm and caring....and an encyclopedia of knowledge of where to visit and best places to eat.. Together with her hubby Kostas and attentive staff the premises are kept spotless. The breakfast is a superb layout of breads, croissants fresh fruit different cakes each day. The location is ideal...a 2 minute walk to the bus stop with a air conditioned coach service every 20 minutes or so which takes you firstly into Oia itself then drops off most passengers who visit for the day, then off to Fira about 15 minutes away. There is a small supermarket 50 yards from the bus stop which is cheaper than in the ones in Oia itself. There is a stunning sea view from the location and an abundance of walks close by. The Fira to Oia walk is a must.... The bus / coach services from Fira are easy to use and cheap. We did not need to hire a car even though we were there for a week as the island is small with superb and amazing places to visit such as Oia, Fira with its cable car and Kamiri ... Be aware of using the cable car if there are 3 or more cruise ships in fira as you could have a wait of an hour or 2 to get back up the hill side.. we recently spent a week here, and had a fabulous holiday. The hotel is in a great location just 15min walk to Oia village, 10 mins walk to the village of Finikia (very cute with great restaurants) and 5 mins walk to bus stop. The hotel has a beautiful pool with loungers and at night has great views of the famous Oia sunsets. Anna was extremely helpful and friendly - nothing too much trouble. Rooms and pool area spotless. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

My partner and I stayed for a week in May. Ana could not do enough for us. She helped us with trips, provided a friendly service, good clean rooms and a varied tasty breakfast every day. We could not fault the place at all. It was nicely situated for a stroll in to town and it was super quiet at night. We would visit again in a heartbeat. Thanks Ana and colleagues!

What an incredible stay here! Ana is the best host! Ana is so welcoming and so so lovely. We loved our stay here and we will definitely be back! The rooms are so lovely and well equipped with everything you need. The girls that clean the rooms are like magic fairies cleaning the whole room while you’re at breakfast. Um hotel simples, mas com preço justo! A localização é boa, ficando a 10/15min a pé do centro de OIA. Não é um hotel para quem procura luxo, porém possui um atendimento incrível, principalmente a recepção e cordialidade da Ana, que nos fez diversas boas indicações! O café da manhã não possui grande variedade, mas atende muito bem os hospedes. Possui estacionamento, piscina e área para ver o por do sol.

Situation parfaite au calme à l' entrée d' Oia, très chaleureux accueil de la part d' Anna qui donne de précieux conseils et très bons petits déjeuners....il manquait que le soleil pour que notre séjour soit parfait. Je recommande vivement cette location .
