Qianjing Xiaozhu Boutique Hotel

I recently stayed at Qianjing Xiaozhu Boutique Hotel in Shanghai and had an exceptional experience. The hotel's chic design and intimate atmosphere provided a perfect blend of historic and comfort. The room was immaculate and stylishly furnished, offering all the modern amenities one could need. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel's amenities were top-notch, including free laundry and charming rooftop terrace that provided a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the city's skyline. Moreover the owner and reception was kind enough to advised a list of restaurant that served delicious local meals and showcasing the great history of their place. Their local knowledge and recommendations greatly enhanced my visit to Shanghai. Overall, my stay at Qianjing Xiaozhu Boutique Hotel was fantastic. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Shanghai.

The inn is located in a location that is full of the atmosphere of Shanghai's old downtown. Once you find the inn's sign and pass through the gate, you will see the alleys and scenery of private houses that you’ve seen in pictures, which is sure to excite any traveler. The hotel was located in that area. The inn is retro but not inconvenient, and the view from the window of our lovely room made us feel like we were living there. The hotel owner was very kind and enthusiastic to help me. He gave me detailed information about recommended spots, which was very helpful. It’s located in a convenient area called People's Square（人民広场）, close to the station, and has very reasonable prices, and it is rare to find a hotel that is so full of atmosphere. I’d like to stay there again！

The hotel is a quaint, decorated old style but really nice. Rooms spacious and clean, bed super comfortable. The owner was so helpful, he went out of his way to show me how to get to places and even took me on his scooter to show me the bus stop. Its a 15min walk to the river, at the Bund.

Truly amazing experience, tucked away in a traditional neighborhood with great access to food, public transportation, and more. The room was clean and comfy, and the staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, going over the history of the neighborhood and hotel, as well as recommending different restaurants and places to visit. We will definitely be back next time!

I am so overjoyed to find this gem in Shanghai! This truly feels like a step into a real upper-class Shanghainese household from the XXth century. The owner is friendly and helpful, and the facilities are well kept. If you speak any Chinese, you will find an opportunity to mingle and get to know lots of interesting neighbors! I will come back again, and have already recommended to all my friends!
