The inn is located in a location that is full of the a**osphere of Shanghai's old downtown. Once you find the inn's sign and pass through the gate, you will see the alleys and scenery of private houses that you’ve seen in pictures, which is sure to excite any traveler. The hotel was located in that area. The inn is retro but not inconvenient, and the view from the window of our lovely room made us feel like we were living there. The hotel owner was very kind and enthusiastic to help me. He gave me detailed information about recommended spots, which was very helpful. It’s located in a convenient area called People's Square（人民広场）, close to the station, and has very reasonable prices, and it is rare to find a hotel that is so full of a**osphere. I’d like to stay there again！

The hotel is a quaint, decorated old style but really nice. Rooms spacious and clean, bed super comfortable. The owner was so helpful, he went out of his way to show me how to get to places and even took me on his scooter to show me the bus stop. Its a 15min walk to the river, at the Bund.

Very nice experience. Comunication was easy and they also helped us to book a taxi to the airport. The neighborhood is very nice and close to people square metro.

The hotel is nicely located in walking distance to the Bund, People’s park and the metro. There are plenty of food options in the nearby streets as well.
The only problem is that the entrance itself is a bit hard to find. The navigation app only lead us to the main street, while the hotel itself is located within the residential block, not accessible by car.

We stumbled upon this gem tucked away in a charming but slightly hidden location. Despite this, we were warmly greeted by the friendly and engaging staff. Our room, although cozy, was impeccably clean and provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The staff's willingness to chat and offer insights into the local area added a personal touch to our stay. Additionally, the hotel's convenient location made it easy for us to navigate the city's attractions. Overall, it was a delightful experience that left us feeling welcomed and well taken care of.

The hotel was located near the subway station and concierge was helpful too. The hotel itself is a building that's over 100 years old. However, do note that the hotel is located inside the residential area and isn't easily spotted. Also, cleanliness could be improved as the room was a little dusty with paint peeling in the shower area. Amenities were lackluster as they only give you a comb and toothbrush.
