Otel odası kapısının kapanma sesi inanılmaz derecede yüksekti ve kapı çerçevesinde yankılanan bir ”patlama” sesi yaratıyordu. Ses o kadar rahatsız ediciydi ki, gecenin bir yarısı bile sizi uyandırabilirdi. Dün gece saat 2'de, koridorun aşağısındaki farklı odalardan gelen kapıların tekrarlayan ”patlama, patlama, patlama” sesini açıkça duyabiliyordum. Ses yalıtımının olmaması otelin genelinde büyük bir sorun. Sorunlu kapı gürültüsünün ötesinde, üst kattan ve komşu odalardan gelen sesleri de açıkça duyabiliyordum. Bu otelde genel uyku kalitesi gerçekten kötü. Bu gürültü endişelerinin dışında, oteldeki deneyimimin geri kalanı tatmin ediciydi. Ancak, kapının çarpmasının neden olduğu kesintiler ve ses yalıtımının eksikliği, gelecekte burada tekrar kalmaktan çekinmeme neden olurdu. Yumuşak kapanan menteşelere sahip kapılara basit bir değişiklik çok yardımcı olurdu.

This may not be the fanciest hotel in Shanghai, but I like it very much. Less than 300 meters from a subway station, buses nearby too, very convenient, quiet and clean place to rest. Been there already 3 times and will be glad to book it again in the future.

I stayed at LifeIN Apartment in Shanghai, and the experience was excellent. Alisa provides outstanding service. Whenever I needed help—whether it was translating how to use the washing machine, finding groceries, or locating nearby halal restaurants—she was always available and very helpful. On our last day, we needed to check the weight of our luggage. I asked her where I could find a nearby shop, and she ordered a luggage scale online instead. It was delivered within just 15 minutes, which was shocking and amazing! She then gave it to us as a gift—such a thoughtful and helpful gesture. The view from the apartment was awesome, and the night view was absolutely stunning, making our stay even more special. The room was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The location is great and convenient, especially for families. Everything felt safe and easy during our stay. Great service, great location, and a perfect choice for families. Good location, easy transport access, acceptable breakfast with wide variety, but small, old rooms that could see a refurbishment. Overall good value for money.

The location is fantastic — right in the heart of Xujiahui, one of Shanghai’s key CBD areas. It’s just steps from the metro, surrounded by parks, a historic church, government buildings, supermarkets, and multiple shopping malls like Metro City within easy walking distance. Extremely convenient for both business and leisure. Cleanliness was slightly disappointing. The coffee table in the room — the one meant for dining — felt sticky and visibly unclean, which immediately affected the first impression. The interior design uses a lot of solid colors like dark blue, which may contribute to an older, worn look, even if the actual cleanliness is acceptable. But that table really dragged down the experience at first glance. Service, on the other hand, is outstanding. Upon check-in, guests are offered bottled water, and the staff are professional, warm, and proactive. There were complimentary snacks waiting in the room, and any request via the front desk was handled immediately. They even provide free laundry service — just put your clothes in the laundry bag, inform the staff, and your clean clothes are returned to your door within 12 hours. Very impressive service overall. Facilities are generally good — the room is spacious, with all essentials provided. The Dyson hairdryer, smart bidet toilet, and well-designed dry-wet separated bathroom are nice touches. However, the gym and swimming pool seem to be frequently “under maintenance” according to many reviews, so they’re practically not usable. In summary, a very comfortable stay with excellent service and a top-tier location — just be aware that cleanliness could be improved and facilities may not all be available as advertised.

I felt safe enough to stay there. The staffs are very nice. I love that they have laundry room. The only downside is the air conditioner was turned off during cold weather and they cannot turn it on because it is a centralised system. It caused the room to be quite stuffy, and there’s no way to open the window. Eventually the staff offered to bring in a fan. I love that the room has has a turntable, and we could rent the vinyls. Overall is a great stay, not too noisy, location is near the cute cafes around Xiangyang Road. There’s even weighing scale in the room and it’s a smart room where we can instruct Xiaodu to turn off the lights or turn on the TV or open the window, but they’re all in Chinese, so if you are unable to speak Chinese, it might be a problem. Overall it is very recommended.
