Stunning river view, but if you are specifically looking for the pearl tower view, can skip this room. The only downside here is the availability of public transport.

I recently stayed for 9 days at the Joya Hotel in Gubei, Shanghai, and had a great overall experience. The hotel is modern, elegant, and exceptionally clean. My room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, a stylish bathroom, and great soundproofing — perfect for resting after long days in the city. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help, even with limited English. The location in Gubei is fantastic — close to cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and within walking distance to metro lines, making it easy to explore Shanghai. The area feels very safe and quiet, ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The daily housekeeping was consistent, and small details like free water and well-maintained amenities made the stay even better. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was important for work. Overall, Joya Hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and convenience — I would definitely stay here again.

The location is good, 15 mins walk to the cathedral and Shanghai ZIkawei library. Shopping mall next to the hotel. It has been a great stay; the front desk staff was super friendly and helpful in assisting my needs. Would definitely come back

Perfect Hotel with stylish Chinses decroration, perfect location surounded by supermarket, gardens and museum also with the old town street. The warmest is the people here. We met Ms.Zhang at the front desk when we check-in she is so.nice we felt back to home.Highly recommaded and surely will stay in the hotel next time.
