I have been putting off staying at this hotel for years, and that is a regret. This hotel is amazing. Location, Great. Staff, friendly. Beds, comfortable. 24 hour room service, fantastic. Bidet toilet seat, amazing. For the price, this hotel is a steal. Better service and better rooms than hotels that are double the price.
My biggest problem. The bathtub is too small. It looks big, but for a 190cm guy, it's just way way too small. Looks big in pictures... Not in reality. They probably have bigger tubs in different rooms (maybe executive or suites). I will contact them before booking again to make sure tub is big.
The pool is great. The Sauna and steam room in the changing rooms are great. I do wish there was a jacuzzi or some hot pool... Either in the gendered changing rooms or by the pool.
Recommendations: the bathrobes are small, get some plus sized ones. More coffee in the room, 2 pods aren't enough. More water in rooms, 4 small bottles aren't enough. Allow cooling during winter, I know it's not easy, but many expats don't want 25° rooms. Finally... For room service. EGGS BENEDICT!!!! You already have a good room service breakfast menu... But you need eggs Benedict.
I judge hotels room service based on club sandwiches. This club sandwich was mid tier. Not bad, not fantastic. Granted I ordered the late night club sandwich. Maybe there is a difference. But this is the same with all of the other room service food I ordered. Good. Just a few steps away from great. But super happy there is a 24hr menu! Next time I stay I will experiment with regular hours food vs late night.
In all. This hotel is amazing! Definitely will stay again. Just hopefully I can get a bigger bathtub next time.

wonderful stay at Pullman Shanghai Jing An. From the moment we arrived, the experience was smooth and welcoming.
A special thanks to Ryan (听雨) at check-in — he was efficient, friendly, and made the whole process incredibly quick. We were checked in within just a few minutes, which was very much appreciated after a long journey. 😊
The room was great as well — comfortable, well-maintained, and made our stay very pleasant. One small suggestion: having an additional mirror at the wardrobe area would be a great touch and even more convenient for guests.
Check-out was just as pleasant. Felicia Fang assisted us and handled everything seamlessly. The entire process was quick and effortless, making our departure just as smooth as our arrival.
Overall, it was a great stay with excellent service, and we will definitely come back to Pullman in the future.
One small note: the bell attendants could perhaps offer a few more smiles — though it might just have been the cold weather getting to everyone! ❄️

First off I love the Pullman. I usually understand that most Pullman hotels and some hotels under the ALL Accor brand usually are a bit dated but usually still have a bit of magic in it. Unfortunately this one has lost it. We’ve stayed here before about 2 years ago but it’s significantly gone downhill from even then. At that point we felt it was dated, but it’s just bad now. The hotel itself is in a great area, if you are traveling and using the train station. But…It’s old. No other way to put it. The amenities are dated, badly. Pool actually is used by local Shanghai residents, who are using it quite frequently. They look at you as if you are a nuisance if you are just enjoying the pool and not swimming laps…also it has mold growing inside on the pillars. You can see it when you go under water with goggles. The gym is old, the towels and sheets are stained. The robes in the rooms are stained and old. The wallpaper is peeling off and the room stays warm even with the air conditioning and windows open. It was actually too hot in the room and we couldn’t get the temperature below 23. This is without the hot air on and the windows open. The breakfast is ok, but the restaurant uses paper cups which is unusual. The tables are very old and used, and the couches in the restaurant were used in the 80’s I’m sure. Overall this hotel needs to be renovated especially for the price we pay. I love Accor but we won’t be staying here again until it gets upgraded.
The hotel rates high on every single factor: room, cleaniness, breakfast, etc. It is a pity the subway is not very well connected.
The hotel has a gym and a swimming pool (which I haven't tried). There is a lounge as well in which consume light dinners and beverages.
