We chose this hotel as it was near a lot of eateries. As expected, this is a fuss-free hotel with all the basic amenities that one needs for a smooth travel. Room size was generous, toilet was spacious and towels were clean. The hotel is situated directly above a wet market, so do ask for a high floor in order not to hear the pounding sounds of the butcher's knife.

clean and full facilities (except no fridge, but it fine if you don’t have anything to freeze). good quality and tasty breakfast. good service and safety security measure :)

We booked three rooms at Holiday Inn Express at ShanTou center. Due to change in flight schedule, four of my family members could only arrive after midnight. We requested the hotel to reserve the rooms at higher floor with quiet location so that we can rest. Mr. Vincy Li at the reservation department is very kind and considerate. He responded to our request immediately. His kindness made our stay a pleasant trip.
The staff Mr. 陈荣森 is a polite young man. The aunty serving the Noodle Soup at the breakfast counter is very considerate. Each time, she will never fail to remind us to bring the bowl with care.
Hope there will be two coffee maker machines as there are always long queue at the counter.

The location is terrible. Not close to anything. Rooms are ok quality and cleanliness. There is no facility at all.

The location of the hotel in the center was excellent, the hotel is clean and tidy, the rooms are large, the shower is very pampering, very worth it and the price is not expensive at all

One of the room they assigned is just beside the restaurant at level3. Very noisy in the early morning.
Total we stayed 2nights, we requested to change the room for the second night.

stayed at 3rd floor, 1)heard sporadic pounding n random sound,6-7am initially thought they were doing renovation,check w front desk confirmed not it.turns out hotel rooms are over huge market on groundflr, 2) cannot adjust temp,inform frontdesk, later when we return was told its fixed, but it was not, still stays at 21C, ended up had to call maintenece tech, he finally told us its central a/c , not adjustable at room, they finally brought in a heater..( had to call front desk thru external line..internal room phone only automated voice for 2 choice..makeup room or send stuff..cannot talk to frontdesk??😟) otherwise place is clean and new...
