It's in the old town, very local, with lots of food options nearby. There's a wet market behind the hotel which is amazing; the vendors are so friendly, one auntie even invited us to drink tea with her! Chaoshan Gongfu tea truly lives up to its reputation. The room facilities are decent. Suggestions: 1. I hope the hotel designates non-smoking rooms. There was a slight smoky smell when we first entered, but it dissipated quickly after opening the window and turning on the AC. 2. The hallways should be cleaned or vacuumed promptly; we noticed some debris on the carpet. The front desk staff, both male and female, were very welcoming and gave great food recommendations!"

"This hotel was recommended to us by my relatives after they stayed here during the May Day holiday, and it really lived up to their praise. It was by far the most satisfying place we stayed during our trip to the Chaoshan area. The staff are incredibly well-trained and very enthusiastic. They gave us detailed directions to Longyan South Road Food Street, which isn't far, and even recommended we take a one-yuan cross-river ferry to watch the sunset – something I hadn't seen in any travel guides! They also suggested visiting the Chaoshan Culture Museum, which was packed with interesting exhibits. The cleanliness and facilities were also excellent. 👍"
