"The hotel staff throughout were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our hot water went off. By the time I had got back from the reception , the repair man was knocking on the door. He repaired the fault within 10 mins by fitting a new valve. The grounds were kept immaculate all of the time . The rooms were lovely and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent food all day long. The setting was beautiful alongside the river. The breakfast  was superb from quality of food to choice to suit every palate.. Truly this is a gem of a hotel who do everything to make your stay perfect. They organised 2 day tours with private taxi which were perfect. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"The room was clean and comfortable, with a convenient location. What exceeded my expectations was the breakfast — it was an à la carte buffet, beautifully presented with flowers on each plate, generous portions, and very delicious. The variety wasn’t huge, but considering the room rate, it was really impressive and kids could eat for free with no extra charge."

"Perfect place to stay when you are traveling in Kanchanaburi. It is only 600 m close to the river kwai bridge. Cozy and comfy room, nice view from the top of building you can see mountain view which is so nice especially in sunset and sunrise. Also, they provide local breakfast, it is very tasty."

"Overall vibes and service of resort staff were awesome. Though it’s stated 5-star, amenities were dated. Space is big, gets a little spooky at night due to extreme darkness around the area. Knowing the history of kanchanaburi I couldn’t step out after 9pm 😂 No Netflix hence you could wind down and relax at this place. If you want a relaxing place to stay, definitely consider Dheva Mantra."

"The service was exceptional from every member of the staff. I had a few special requests prior to check in and the were executed flawlessly. The room was beautiful and quiet with a private swimming pool. The setting was beautiful and the grounds were meticulously maintained. The food was excellent."

"Wonderful time in the hotel The restaurant was great and we look forward to spend our dinner every evenings we stayed Amazing atmosphere and we didn’t expect to have a resort vibe like this at this price range. I would say a phone direct to the reception would be great"

"Large room with large nice porch overlooking a beautiful large pond in our case. Extensive grounds interspersed with ponds and riverfront with walking path (although music from across the river was quite loud at night on some nights). The pool is beautiful. Staff are friendly, but not always fluent in English. The Resort is setup well for large groups. The bathroom is large with plenty of hot water (not always the case in SE Asia), but is a little dated. It's outside of town, but an easy 100 bot short grab ride so I see that as an advantage"

"I was allowed to check in early (11.30am). This place is huge! It feels like i'm staying in a national park. The room is very spacious, clean, very nicely decorated with water, toiletries etc. I'm very happy with the room and now keen to explore the grounds before heading out to the national park on the scooter. The grounds are well maintained in most areas but could be improved slightly in others. Nice to walk around but for cycling, the paths are so uneven and inconsistent, it's not a particularly comfortable ride. They also have some kayaks available. There is no road noise but if you have neighbours, the walls are thin so you will hear talking and scraping chairs occasionally. There is also a constant vibrating sound coming from across the river that reverberates throughout the parts which should be relaxing - some kind of large water pump, generator or farming equipment. I went to Erawan and arrived back at around 8pm, the restaurant takes last orders around 9 but they were serving food and drinks outside with a variety of food, from steak to pad thai, papaya salad, noodles, grilled chicken at different stations. With the outdoor seating area lit up and music playing, it is a super chill but lovely atmosphere. Breakfast: A little disappointing. It's more local (processed sausage and ham, more rice, vegetables and noodles etc). I tried the rice, vegetables, sweet and sour chicken - it was all cold. The egg was slightly undercooked so I just had fruit. It was a busy breakfast area and lots of people seemed to be enjoying the breakfast. It was much better on the second day! After a day of exploring around and up to Hellfire Pass, I arrived back at around 6pm. I went to the restaurant where I sat for 10 minutes - no staff came to me to ask if I needed anything despite lots of staff wandering around. I approached them and asked if the restaurant was open, to which they replied no, all food is outside. I wrongly assumed the restaurant was also open. I went to buy coupons for the outdoor food but this time they said it was a la carte - it wasn't very clear how to order food, tables didn't have menus so i asked for one. The food was okay - the stir fried beef was tough but the vegetables were okay. Most staff have low levels of English so communicating can be challenging."

"We stayed in a three-storey apartment at this hotel for one night with my family. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the bathrooms were spotless. The mattresses were cozy and soft. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and they offered us a wide variety of breakfast items free of charge."

"Cross River Kwai. Luxury hotel in Kanchaburi. Nice staff, good service, glorious view, and perfect decoration. We stayed 1 night here (Type: X Float Luxe cabin) with complimentary snack bar, afternoon tea and bed time tea set. Breakfast is buffet and taste is good. Its location is really quite which is good for relax time. If you checked in here, you will love it like we did."
