The hotel is very close to the hotel, and I decided to stay in this hotel the night before. I had a chance to dine in the restaurant in another structure of the same group just a mile away, and I was very satisfied with it, really a tasty dinner! Given my departure at dawn, I had no chance to try the international breakfast offered in a fun room with views of the gardens, but the courtesy of the staff allowed me to have a hot croissant and a coffee at my departure. If there's the opportunity I'll have no doubt to return to the Villa delle Roses, recommended!

My wife and I discovered this wonderful place after traveling everywhere in Europe for the last 40 years. As a travel writer I have confidently shared our discovery of this wonderful place with many friends and readers. From the moment you arrive you receive a warm greeted by the most professional and caring staff. Everyone is attentive and truly want to make your stay a good one. When we arrived mid day we went to the pool for a wonderful lunch. Near us was a table with an attractive family, of 3 generations and their family dog, They were the family who owns and manages the property , ”eating their own cooking” as we say, and enjoying the quiet loveliness of their own property. There are 3 choices of accommodations here, each wonderful and meeting special preferences. We stayed in the Palazzo and loved it, but the Castello/Castle and its garden and views are outstanding. The rooms in the beautifully renovated stables with large grass common area are very accommodating, especially for families with children. The whole property is a destination in itself with so many things to see. We had breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, all in totally different environments, and it all was superb. In closing, we all know that the staff makes all the difference wherever we stay. Again, the staff, and owners, could not be more welcoming, joyful and professional. Aldilà della struttura ormai fatiscente, purtroppo abbiamo trovato la camera molto sporca. Ma davvero TANTO sporca. Batuffoli di polvere ovunque, doccia e muri con muffa nera. Capelli di chissà quanti altri ospiti nello scarico della doccia, saponette usate da altri ospiti nella doccia. Scarico del lavandino otturato. Infissi che cadono a pezzi, termosifone del bagno che si sgretola. Mi dispiace molto doverlo dire ma sconsiglio vivamente di scegliere questa struttura. La colazione è stata la peggiore che ho visto in vita mia. Non mi ritengo chissà chi ma avendo viaggiato parecchio mi permetto di dirlo. Nella patria del cibo, quella colazione era scabrosa. Nel complesso quando abbiamo fatto presente al personale determinati problemi hanno cercato in tutti modi per quanto fosse in loro possibilità di risolvere. La camera è stata pulita o almeno è passato qualcuno a cercare di pulirla, e gli scarichi sono stati otturati. Purtroppo per quanto ce la possano mettere, la struttura è in carenza di personale e ciò si vede chiaramente. Come ciliegina sulla torta al nostro check out c’era in atto una discussione accesa tra il personale. Sono del parere che indipendentemente dal problema che c’è non si debba discutere davanti ai clienti. In ogni caso questo è l’ultimo dei loro problemi. Non torneremo mai più.

Our stay at Relais Santo Stefano was nothing but a pleasure - the staff were incredibly helpful, the rooms were large, the bathroom spacious - and the breakfast !!!! was fabulous. WE used this as a base to watch gold at Le Betulle and we will stay here again. Thank you for the most wonderful stay. Great value for our $$$
