"Our one night stay was excellent. We booked two rooms, one for my wife and I and the other for my son and his wife. The rooms were well fitted out and were very clean. The bathroom was perfect with a grab handle on the bath and a very easy to use shower attachment - my wife and I are both elderly and appreciate these things! From booking in - to booking out, the staff were friendly and helpful. We often visit Armacao de Pera and will definately choose Lindmar again and stay longer!"

Amendoeira Golf Resort

"From start to finish, our visit to Amendoeira golf resort was above my expectations. Check in was extremely easy and very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Shuttle bus service around the resort worked very well, max wait time was 15 minutes which was more than acceptable. Our accommodation was only 10 walk from the clubhouse. The accommodation was excellent and very clean with everything you could need. Airco in every room with ensuite bathrooms. Shower pressure was very good. The only slight issue was the mattresses were a little hard but not enough to be an issue. Close to our accommodation was the communal pool, which was also very nice and ideal after a hot day on the golf course. Breakfast at the clubhouse had a very large selection of hot and cold food and was more than acceptable. Evening meal at the restaurant was very good and at a reasonable price. The service, as with most places was dependent on who was working and how busy the restaurant was. Our first evening our waiter was fantastic and catered to all our needs and was very friendly and funny whilst remaining very respectful. The 2nd night there was another staff working and we had to wait quite a while for our food. It was very busy at the restaurant with large groups, so it was understandable. The good was very good and we enjoyed the overall dining experience. The Golf on the two courses (Faldo & O'connor courses) at Amendoeira golf resort was excellent. Considering playing here in September, after a long hot and busy summer season, the courses were in fantastic condition. Some of the tee boxes were a little rough but the rest of the courses was in great conditions. The greens were the standout, being very fast but also soft and receptive and very consistent pace across both courses. Two very different courses with different challenges that a very enjoyable to play. Pace of play was acceptable at un 5 hours but I do wish that more groups would play scramble format to help with pace of play and enjoyment of the courses. Higher handicapers (10+) playing their own ball will struggle and not enjoy the experience. I give this resort an overall 5 star review and highly recommend the Amendoeira Golf resort."

"We arrived on bikes after a long ride and Daniel greeted us with a big welcoming smile. He was so friendly, accommodating and helpful. The pool was refreshing and the dinner excellent. It’s a very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Thank you Daniel for making our stay so comfortable."
