The apple juice in the hotel restaurant is very good! Throw! After all, Albury is not a big city, other aspects are not forced, the overall environment of the hotel is still very clean and very comfortable.

The motel was perfect for a one night stopover for a family of 5, including our pet dog. The motel is easy to find not far off the freeway and is a short walk to town and also close to some playing fields for a dog walk. The room was a good size for two adults and two teenagers and the queen plus 2 single beds configuration worked well. The room was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when we left a phone charger behind they kindly arranged postage. We would stay there again and would recommend anyone else do so as well. Good job Cottage Motor Inn.

It was a business decision that led our choice to stay here... a co-worker and I stayed for one night only. The motel is quite a beautiful building - easy car parking spaces- lovely pool area- outdoor seating- established garden. Service at reception was exceptional... the gent even helped me when I had forgotten my phone charger ensuring I could charge my phones that evening. Breakfast was not an option here ( unless you ordered to your room)... and the restaurant was also closed. They, like other businesses, are struggling to get staff... in this case, they are missing a chef. I felt like home when I spotted a couple of bengals at the location... I found it odd that they were residing in a motel because bengals are not known for being friendly cats. However, they are stunning to look at. The only let down for this motel is that the rooms could do with a refurbishment. The mattresses are a little firm and the linen is dated. I did get a good night's sleep, but I woke sore from the firm mattress.

Our family of 3 stayed in a 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin (no.9) for 4 nights - Saturday to Wednesday - in March 2023. The Good: - Park was clean and well maintained - Water in Lake Hume was full and came right up to beautiful grassed bbq area (see photos) - Very quiet (especially at night) - Cabin was spotlessly clean - Supplies were plentiful - Linen on beds was high quality and very comfortable - extra, warm blankets were available in cupboard - wifi good - Supplies such as cooking spray and paper towel provided at BBQs - fantastic! - Big, shady trees throughout are beautiful - Easy parking at front for any visitors The not-so-good: -The park feels cramped. Cabins are very close together. I think it would be very noisy with louder people next door in busy times. - Roads within park are very narrow - Spa needs to be booked. Sorry, but I found this odd. - Pedal Go Karts cost $10 per hour each. Surely the use of these could be included in the tarriff (we paid almost $1000 for 4 nights in off-season). - Some old permanent vans/cabins look shabby and bring down the otherwise pretty look of the park An overall pleasant stay! Great dog friendly stop over ☺️

This is a really lovely hotel with enormous rooms, king beds and centrally located. We have stayed here before so it really was the motel we wanted to stay in on this trip. It did not disappoint again. Rooms are spotless, checking is really seamless, heating is great for the cold Albury winter nights and the amenities are numerous with great undercover and open air car parking. Our suggestion woukd be to book early because it is a very reasonably priced motel and seriously good for the cost.

The kids enjoyed this place more than we did - mainly due to the pool area as it kept them busy for hours. I booked this place based on the great reviews but unfortunately it didn’t quite live us to its reputation in my opinion. The room we got was quite average, though the beds were quite comfortable and the place seemed clean. The biggest thing for me was the odour. As soon as we entered, I could smell a mouldy type smell so had to run an air purifier (which I fortunately took with me). Later I realised that the smell was coming from the bathroom where it was obvious there was some of the roof replaced due to water damage but some still remained. Not a very welcoming scent when you enter and not very healthy for guests to be breathing in!! In terms of the outdoor and conman area facilities, there are lots of things to do and it’s a great set up, just some maintenance issues as there were cracked tiles/flooring around the indoor pool area and a few things in disrepair like the mini golf course. Overall we had a decent enough stay since it was only for 2 nights, I wouldn’t stay longer than that though and I felt it was over priced for what you get.

The staffs are very helpful start from reception to breakfast venue. The breakfast is stunning.

You shouldn't expect too much when you book the cheapest available motel but the Clifton turned out to exceed all expectations. It's an older building, largely unrenovated, but it's clean and tidy and provides absolutely everything anyone could want or need. We gota cheerful welcome late at night and plenty or courteous assistance. The bed was comfortable and the complementary breakfast adequate. If you are on A budget or just need to sleep while passing through Albury don't waste your money elsewhere.
