"We booked two rooms and found insects in ours on arrival. The staff was very apologetic and proactively upgraded us to a fantastic room with a private onsen and a stunning view of Mt. Yotei. The new room was flawless: incredibly clean, with top-notch amenities and free parking. I particular like the mirrors in the room, very friendly to lady that needs to use for make-up purposes and the full body length mirror. It shows the thoughtfulness of the hotel for lady guests! The hotel's handling of the situation was impeccable. They turned a negative into a overwhelmingly positive experience. Highly recommended!"

"It’s a destination resort you should really plan for it however from the moment you have met the driver from Setsu at the Kutchan station and everything is beyond your expectations and impeccable service. Love the private Onsen experience yet the public Onsen is also not so busy at this time.  However I will definitely go visit and stay again during the winter time.  Two three four or more thumbs up 👍"

"I chose Muwa through Trip.com to make sure my girlfriend would be as comfortable as possible for her very first ski experience—especially since it was her birthday. Neither of us had been to Niseko before, so we had quite a few questions beforehand. Liz was incredibly responsive and helpful over email, which made the planning process smooth and stress-free. From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded our expectations. The concierge team, led by Andreas, welcomed us warmly at check-in, setting the tone for a truly memorable stay. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality immediately made us feel at home. The room itself was modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed—providing the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day on the slopes. We also utilized the in-house ski instructors from True Niseko, which made a huge difference for beginners like us. Arthur and Andrea were patient, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience fun and much less intimidating. We will definitely come back :)"

"The location is the best which just one minute walking distance to the bus terminal to/from Toya Station and in front of the ferry pier. Please see my photo. Perfect location. The front desk receptionist lady was friendly. I was placed to a lake view Japanese style room. It doesn't include shower but toilet in the room and it looks like old but I love the room. The view from the room's window to Lake Toya was excellent. I love my room's window can be opened, I could see more clear to the lake view and to have fresh air from outside by opening the window. Even it was a raining day, cloudy and frosty. The view is still spotless good. The service was good. The room was clean, tidy and come with all necessity, but bath/shower excluded. However, based on the price, I was happy with it because I don't mind to use the bathroom in the onsen area on floor one. There was only two down side that I found: First, the male onsen area floor was sticky and slippery with moss (My left hand accidentally touched it and my hand was sticked with moss in outdoor onsen area) that includes indoor and outdoor area. I wish they would take more effort to the cleanliness of onsen area. Second, the suana was not available for customer to use. However, I had a fantastic sauna and onsen in 万世閣 (a hotel where is just a few minutes walk away from Toya Grand Hotel) by a paying walk in onsen fee(1300 yen) for non-resident. So, it didn't affect me much. Overall, my experience was good. I would give Toya Grand Hotel 8 out of 10. I love Toya Grand Hotel. I would recommend it."

"Everyone at Maples are friendly and helpful. Rendering their assistance from fetching us at Hirafu Welcome centre, Rhythm for our ski rental, sending us to dot base for ski class. Even to the restaurant nearby. Ski in ski out and snow play are just a stone away. Pizza restaurant there are fabulous too"

"The service was top ! We are extremely satisfied with the Vale this hotel. The room was spacious and had a pleasant surprise with its large floor-to-ceiling windows offering a wide and high view that allowed us to enjoy a snowscape. The facilities in the room are also very comprehensive, including a kitchen, a washer, and a dryer, which we are very satisfied with. Patricia (sweet smiling lady) knew that there were three of us and prepared an extra third chair so that we could all sit together to eat.  Melanie and Liam provided impeccable service. Despite the booking only two nights at The Vale, and we needed to move to Rusutsu resort ( no available in the Vale for the rest of our holiday) they assisted us to deliver our 7 luggage’s to Rusutsu resort(that hotel service is very so so) This led us to The Rusutsu Resort hotel where our luggage was handled very well. Despite the extremely cold , Melanie and Liam were there to help us load our luggage onto the car, and Liam ensured that our belongings were safely delivered to the other Resort.  Honestly , the price in the Vale is value for money for this truly wonderful experience. Rusutsu Resort hotel is overpriced with the such quality service . Thank you again Patricia, Melanie and Liam"

"Overall a great stay. The biggest advantage is the convenience. It is truly ski in ski out, which makes it very easy to access the slopes without needing to travel anywhere. The slopes here are also very beginner friendly. They are not too steep, which makes it a comfortable place to learn or practice skiing. I also took a 2 hour private ski lesson arranged through the hotel. Our instructor, Yuki, was very friendly, patient, and encouraging, which made the learning experience enjoyable. The only downside was the food. Both the dinner and breakfast buffet had quite limited variety, and the taste was just average. Considering the price we paid, the food did not feel very worth it. Overall, it is still a good place to stay if you want convenience and easy access to beginner friendly slopes. Just do not expect too much from the buffet."
