Hotel Brown Palace

Usually this is not my type of rating but could not help , pathetic experience to say the least , messy rooms , arogant staff , uncleaned bathrooms and no room service , feels u need to beg for everything, and bills are over done if u don’t check , they gave us bill for 4 teas when the people in room were 3 , if u ask them for cleaning they say we are busy with a marriage function so don’t have staff , the wash room welcomed us with hairs , tooth picks and cigarette buts of the previous occupants which were not cleaned by the the time we left

Hotel looks great. The design inside the rooms are bad. The charging sockets are in the middle /top of the bed. There is kettle placed in the room, but cannot connect to a electric socket. Over all the standard room had no ac. August requires ac. Food is ok, they charge 250 rs per person if you need to buy your breakfast. The rooms are neat and dry. Good spacious rooms overall the rates @makemy trip is much more than direct booking the hotel. The hotel is very much accessible and just next to the passport office. Overall the hotel is good for a day's stay. Remember it is not a resort

room and infrastructure: • the room was spacious but not up to the mark in terms of infrastructure. • the washroom was below average. • only one ceiling fan was provided, which was insufficient for comfort. location: • the hotel is located near a mosque, resulting in quite excessive sound early in the morning for about 30 minutes or more, which disrupted our sleep. this is something to keep in mind when making reservations, though it is beyond the hotel’s and our control (please note i’m not against any religion) hospitality: • the best part of our stay was the helpful and hospitable staff. their service was commendable. dining: • dinner at the hotel was good. • however, the breakfast included with our room reservation was not up to the mark, especially for north indian or punjabi tastes. overall experience: • due to the room conditions and lack of air conditioning, it was quite hot in august. • i would rate my stay 3 out of 5, primarily due to the excellent hospitality. otherwise, it would have been a 2.5.

Brown palace deluxe rooms are no way deluxe. It doesn’t even have a proper fan forget about ac. They don’t even change the bed sheets for their new customer. The blankets are dusty. We had to immediately upgrade our rooms to premium where kids didn’t get bed after paying a hefty amount. They had to sleep on the floor mattress. Their kitchen staff are the only one who gave us extremely good service.

Overall good experience. Located next to dal lake. Decent clean hotel with this price. Good connectivity.

Bad experience. Not value for money. Rooms are not clean, found spider in bed and used cups in room. Food was terrible, only 2 repetitive items in breakfast. Room service was not good. Not all category of rooms listed here.

I have experience amazing hospitality .I saw hotel staff always smiling. Riyaj bhai serve us delicious dishes. Haroon & juned play with my little kid for making him happy. Thank you guys Regards Aman

Pathetic stay! We stayed there in June 2023.We had elderly family mwmbers and toddler.. Only good thing about this unit is location and beautiful lawn Rests are awfully poor. .Rooms are shabby..damp..They do not even provide bathroom kit, kettle, tea bags.. Worst Breakfast. No option for customise your lunch and dinner except their prefixed buffet menu. Food Menu are horribly bad.. They do not even bother to provide customised foos opition for toddler. Hotel management doest even know what service means..and reluctant to modify based on custmer feedback. Not at all advisable .

Inspite of Staying there for 4N/5D @ 7000/- for 2nights, & 5500/- for 2nights =total 25000/- , Checkin 29/9/23 7pm & 3/10/23 check out, 1 time dinner @ ala card 1165/- , we also used their paid vehicle for at 3500/- per day total 10500, Total final bill which came to 36000/- was paid via UPI to the hotel manager Naseer & an advance payment of 2000/- which was made at a petrol pump during sightseeing & + 600/- advance taken by their driver My mistake was i forgot to deduct this advance 2600/- while settling the bill 36000/- at checkout & neither did the manager Naseer remind us to do so, just before boarding the flight wen i reminded the manager on call for the extra payment 2600/- made by me, he confirmed that he would pay back the amount & I need not worry & head back home, But since 2days all my what's app reminders & calls have been ignored by the manager for a merely 2600/- refund, This shows the true color of a person who at such a big post can afford to do such cheap tricks & lose a good customer who did not leave the hotel for 4N/5D inspite of si many better hotel options available near by Below I will share call records with mr Naseer, screenshot of petrol pump payment & screenshot of hotel final payment to manager's personal number
