Not recommended hotel Owners are very arrogant, price are shown on google are less but when you ask them they give you double the price. No room service provided, extra bedding price same as taking new room stay. Very disappointed

nice location, close to the market area as well, food is good, the only issue I faced is get hot water to bath or do normal stuff. very strict timing and not that hot in that kind of weather, other wise it is a nice stay

I had a great stay at Hotel Evoke, the staff is extremely helpful and sweet. Abbass, Ibrahim, Adnan and Firdaus are the best people and helped us a lot through everything. The food is amazing and so was the say!

This hotel is in the middle of a residential area, not a great place for a hotel. I did advance booking for "Club" room (bigger room) at first floor and paid in advance for 1 day to Mr. Imran. When I reached hotel, they said room is not available at first floor because they gave it to someone else. And they gave me another only available smaller room on ground floor. There was a lot of disturbance on ground floor as it was close to reception area. That all happened when I informed them twice about my advance booking and arrival time and they assured me for my room at first floor. Next day they offered me to shift to first floor room but again to same kind of smaller room, they did not offer the 'Club room', which I booked and paid them fee. I booked taxi via hotel staff (Mr. Aadil) for 3 days and that was a pathetic experience. I told Aadil that I need cab early morning for Gulmarg because I was aware that if one reaches there late then the person needs to wait a lot in queue for Gondola ride. Even after several requests, cab came late at 9:15 AM and that was a private number car, which was stopped by police for challan for another 25-30 minutes as car did not have high security number plate. Another painful part was that it was stopped at every police check post (around 6-7). Furthermore, the car itself was in bad condition due to poor suspension & noisy and it gave us lot of ****s during the journey. We reached Gulmarg at 10:45 am and due to late arrival we had to wait in queue for 5 LONG HOURS, that was big pain and this was all due to Aadil as he intentionally delayed our cab. He said there is no crowd in Gulmarg and you will not have to wait for more than 30 minutes. We joined queue for Gondola at 10:45 AM and our Gondola ride started at 3:45 PM :( Second day the Cab was nice because I told them clearly that I will not travel in poorly maintained car. So, there was another driver for 2nd day local Srinagar trip. 3rd day was horrible, they provided another car and a unstable and very aggressive driver, who drove very rashly, endangering our life all the way to Pahalgam and back. Even after several requests to slow down, he laughed but did not slow down the car. We only survived because of god grace. Also, that driver was super crazy, he stopped another person car and had a fight with him while returning back from Pahalgam. Even Aadil (hotel staff) was aware that driver was pathetic as he informed after we came back, yet he assigned that driver to our trip :( . That was terrible experience! Coming to hotel services, they do not provide basic amenities like towels in bathroom until you request 3-4 times. Bathroom do not have exhaust fan that was really bad and also smelly. Bathroom doormat was dirty, so we requested to change it and to my surprise, changed doormat was also very dirty. They did not have clean doormat. Only plus point was staff at restaurant including chef (Saahil, Basit and Chef Faiz), they are polite and served decent

Best in class...best service and helpful and courteous staff, food was awesome and healthy happy full meal, restaurant staff is very much helpful and co operative. I was worried for my 1 and half yr old baby food and also for my brother who is a kidney pt...bt thses guys they never made us feel lonely in a new place ..v rly felt like home..best stay and must visit place...good rooms and maintenance

Great food, vegetarian specially. Canteen as well as hotel Staff is very cooperative & caring. Perfect family stay. Situated in the middle of the city. Recommended to stay in this hotel anyone visiting Srinagar.
