"The location was superb next to Dal Lake. The family room was very spacious with two wash rooms and pleasent interiors & most importantly the heaters working fine in this cold weather. The entire premises was clean. The atmosphere was very friendly with entire staffs being very courteous. A special mention of Mr. Sajad A Bhat, the Manager who was very accommodative by arranging all requirements like transport etc. Mr. Manzoor the chef was amazing. "Hotel is good. Good location. Quite and peace. Only things..is hot water usage is limited. You cant bath even 5 minutes. Hot water become cold again while bath. They should use centralised hot water system. Other than this issue, all.is.good. staff very polite and humble. Clean and nead."

"We stayed at The Dewan by Royal Naqash for one night during our visit to Srinagar. The property is well maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and overall it is a good option for exploring the city. Our package included both breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with the dinner. The menu offered very limited variety, and the food lacked the flavour we were expecting. Srinagar is a wonderful city for food lovers, with numerous restaurants serving authentic Kashmiri cuisine. I would recommend booking the hotel with breakfast only and enjoying your dinners at local restaurants instead. As we had to leave for Sonmarg at 6:00 a.m., we requested a packed breakfast. Unfortunately, that too was quite disappointing in terms of both quality and selection. Overall, the hotel scores well on comfort and location, but its food is an area where significant improvement is needed. If you stay here, skip the dinner package and explore Srinagar's excellent local food scene."
